Yep, if you want a 49", 4k monitor, running @60hz, this is the one. That's the only reason I bought it. I dock a star, because Sony has a bug. When you first turn on the TV, you have to switch out of the graphics mode, then back in, in order to get the latency back to tolerable. There have been several others that have complained about this, and you can look it up online. For the price I paid, however, it's truly a minor nuisance. As a TV? I don't know - I've never used it as one, and my recommendation would be based on my use case.

This is an amazing TV! High quality picture with great sound and easy setup.

Easy to set up. Picture is very clear and colorful. Even with me streaming on the non 4K hdmi port (ARC), thing still look great. I got a great deal during the Labor Day sales, I'm sure Black Friday sales will make this even cheaper.

This Sony KD49X720E is a great TV. The setup is easy and the picture quality is very good. It's also super easy to mirror your iPad to the TV.

This TV is the perfect size for the place I have. The color is great, sound is great and I don't know why I waited so long to get one this size, I would recommend this TV. In fact my sister was with me when I was shopping for a TV and she liked it so much she also bought one.

I wanted to get a better TV for gaming. I love to play xbox. And samsung tends to lag. This tv is by far the best TV I've had and for a decent price. Buy Sony for gaming!!!
