    This TV lives up to the High End quality its marketed for. The clarity of the picture the perfect color is astounding. The reason I marked the value as good is because its sold as a high end TV and it is as advertised. This TV sold at a lower price point would be terrific!

    So far I have only good things to say about this TV. I am thankful I paid Best Buy to install it since it's "smart" characteristics are beyond me. I do have to learn more about how to use it but I have been watching happily without that learning. I panicked once when inadvertently something was hit on my remote that set the tv off in a way I was afraid I could not get my home page back - fortunately with a little ignorant person fiddling I got it on at the home page again. Switching to smart tv from 9 year old ordinary tv made smart by firestick is tough. I wanted to fill out and send you a survey on the Best Buy geek squad installer who did a great job but you have not sent it, much to my disappointment. I eliminated my email address here because I do not want Best Buy to give it out to people who reply to my review - upsetting practice & thanks for the disclosure.

    I was looking for a high end 4k below 50" for the study. Of all the choices, there are very few high caliber 120 motion rate 4k TVs to choose from. I chose this Sony 49" X950H because it check all my boxes: 4k, eARC & Hi Res compatible audio. I didn't get it for the Android abilities, but if you have Android, there are linking features you can set up. Great picture right out of the box plus many additional adjustable fine tuning choices to suit your desires. I paired it up with the Sony ASA-Z9H sound bar/sub, Sony SAZ9 rear speakers & Sony UBPX800M2 4k Blu-Ray player which are a perfect match and adjustable fine tuning. I am extremely happy with this 4k TV.

    We do not have cable & the processor in the Sony TV brings the Broadcast signal to the screen in a fuller manner from another TV 's we first tired.Very Pleased with the Tv- It's controls and Features. Still exploring the features it has.

    This is a very good Sony 4K TV. The color accuracy is very good and with the X one chip inside it handles any gaming with ease! It has Dolby Vision and Netflix calibration inside when you watching Netflix movies.

    Just perfect. The picture is flawless and, with HD, seems more like watching a live play than a recording. No glitches of any sort such as phasing, tearing or pixelizing that I've seen on cheaper TVs. Not inexpensive but a great value. The menus are deep and detailed but the basics are top level and easy to figure out. The system updates the firmware over my wireless and has never been a problem. Geek Squad set-up was fast and the guy was very helpful in setting it up and getting it connected to the wireless. Short of bringing cookies, I'm not sure the installation could have been smoother.

    Waited to write this review. The initial software load was not the best. It wasn't easy to navigate the settings or TV. The audio kept switching from external to internal on its own. After a few updates, the interface has improved. It no longer randomly switch states or audio settings. The picture is great and the TV is perfect for our small entrainment room in the basement. Would not recommend for larger spaces because side viewing is not the best.

    This is a great tv for the price. Got for $999. I love Sony TVs. I even own the x900e from two years ago and it still looks fantastic. If your into 4K gaming specifically the PS5/XSX then you won’t want this TV. Why? Well for starters it will NEVER get 4K 120hz (HDMI 2.1). Sony messed up with their 4K TVs and the downgraded model x900h does get it, sort of. Sony has no intentions on updating this one with the hdmi 2.1 for whatever reason. If your into gaming I would not recommend this one. If your not into gaming then go for it. For me I returned it and got the LG CX oled and it’s even better.

    The tv was easily set up and get all of the input items working. Took awhile to set up the apps but that was more entering all of the app sign ins and such which is not the TV's fault. So far the picture quality has be exceptional.

    Great color accuracy out of the box. Perfectly uniformed screen other than slight vignette on all four corners, which is normal on Sony TVs. Great HDR. Can get very bright.

    Excellent quality with many features. The picture is very clear, bright, and sharp. Action movies and sports are great on this tv. Very happy with the purchase, two let downs 1. we still use old gaming consoles and vcr, we needed to purchase the adapter that this tv uses specifically for an additional $30 thru amazon (haven't received the official Sony OEM Audio Video AV Cable Adapter yet, so hopefully this is the one we need). Tried lower cost adapters, they simply do not work. 2. TV sound quality volume is not great, really needed to add a sound bar (another additional $300).

    We are very happy with the picture quality and sound. Overall we are happy with this TV but there is a problem streaming HULU with this TV. About once a week we have to unplug the TV and replug it to get HULU working properly again. With Hulu streaming recorded and live TV it will start showing the show for about one minute then reboot back to the beginning of the show as a permanent loop. HULU support had me uninstall from the TV and reinstall but the problem continues. Not having this problem with any of the other streaming services. I have faith a future update will solve this problem.

    I am very happy with the tv. It has a great picture, even when viewing older movies and such. The sound is good even without an additional sound bar. The only issue I have had so far with this TV is one day the some apps decided not to actually open while others did. Apparently this is common with Smart TV's in general and was fixed by unplugging the TV for a couple minutes, plugging it back in, and turning the TV on and opening the apps.
