Came back for another one as a gift. One to replace or accompany a 2006 Zune. Much easier to download and not dependent on proprietary software or subscriptions. 4 GB plenty of storage space. Simple playlist setup in Windows Media Audio (WMA) format. Syncs 20 songs in a minute! Very small and portable. 3.5 mm (1/8") connectivity to theater systems and car stereo music ports a breeze. Also connectivity via USB all devices. Transfer of music a snap to PS3 and my other stereo systems. Recommend A++, the sound will definately impress you! Durable metal stylish case a plus.

This is my first ever mp3 player. I did a lot of research and for the price this player has some of the best features around. It looks great, has excellent sound quality and so far has been easy to use. Only a couple things I have had any problems with. 1)The reviews I read all said that great headphones come with this mp3 player came, no need to purchase new ones. But I find them weird. The whole cord is a bit short. You will need to add the extension. My problem is where the cords go into your ears, one side is about 6 inches longer. Maybe to put the headphones around the back of your head. But if you put them up front, one side sticks out... 2)Rapshody/Best Buy store has frozzen a couple times. Error messages

I owned 3 ipods in last 4 years but was never satisfied with the sound quality.CD sounded so much better! But this new walkman sounds as good or even better with the best equalizer and good ear phone that comes with the walkman. Operation is very easy, importing songs are easy but not as easy as the ipod w/itune. Screen is very bright and images and video looks sharp. I would like it even more if it had microphone so I can use it as a voice recorder. .. but over all I love it!

This player is absolutely perfect as far as I am concerned. The player is easy to use and music transfer is a breeze. I am impressed with all the controls you have with regard to sound quality. Battery life is really good. You won't be disappointed with this player!!

I have been wanting an MP3 player for a long time. I read the reviews here and checked a couple other review sites and found this player had high ratings. I should have known it was good. I have never been dissappointed in any of the Sony products I have owned. I was pleasantly suprised when I got it and found it was so simple to upload music to. My sister's kids have ipods and they couldn't believe how easy mine was compared to theirs. I initially was skeptical of the earbuds because I usually want to take them out of my ears right away. These were comfortable and have great sound quality. And they don't fall out everytime I turn my head or during activities like gardening. I agree with the reviewer that said the photo doesn't do this justice, I got this beautiful pink one thinking that it would be safe from my son because it was pink, so much for that, he constantly pilfers it and I have to call him to retrieve it. At least I know what to get him for Christmas this year.

I have been through several MP3's from RCA to Samsung and all have failed to impress.. i have had several of them give out on me.. none of them sounded as good as this little sweetie.. i just bought this several days ago but i am already impressed with the sound quality.. the earphones were a little funky but they sound great! the picture that is shown does no justice for the beautiful metallic rose color that i absolutely fell in love with.. this seems to be the keeper.. now i just need to figure out how to get videos on it.. i have downloaded just about all of my music and most of my pictures on it.. and i still have plenty of room!! This was the best buy that i could have made.. thank you sony!!

i resisted MP3's due to bad compression artifacts. what sold me on this unit was the ability to store full CD quality, and the resulting sound has been fantastic. i did try the sony transfer program at the highest bit-rate (256/sec i think), and the sound was still very good, little to no artifacts. music, pic and video transfers with included software was effortless (even though i am tech savy). the included headphones are pretty good, i have yet to try any other high-end in ear monitors, but they hold up well to my AKG monitor headphones (which are still smoother, but not by much). overall, i have been very impressed at every turn with this unit. for the price you are getting a lot.

I didn't want to buy an ipod because i have bought them previously and I just feel like they are over rated and over priced. I shopped around online and this MP3 player was the only one to get 5 out of 5 stars for all three colors. Plus it was on sale and I also always loved my walkman CD player. So I bought it and I love it! The sound quality is awesome! It is unbelievable how small and light weight the player really is! Plus the great thing is that you can use any program to put music on this, even windows media player, unlike IPods or Zunes where you have to use their programs. Definitely a great purchase that I would recommend to anyone.

ive had mp3 palyers before-this sony kicks butt.makes the ipod look slow and clunky-super thin and sleek loaded with extras and a superb sound system.easily transfers media and music files-adjusts to light conditions easy to use and totally ahead of the others-great features great screen choices and great connectivity and easy to use-even for beginners-sony has outdone itself with this one, simply put the only mp3 player u need and a great price at best buy.dont hesitate to get this powerful little player-it rocks!

This is my first MP3 player and I absolutely love it. I was thinking about an IPOD, but decided I liked Sony better. I love the Best Buy Music Store. Just click on a song and drag it to your player. Simple and easy! I have to figure out how to transfer movies and videos now. I would recommend this to anyone. The sound is crystal clear. I love it! I bought my daughter a cheapy $50.00 MP3 and its so sad, I am thinking about going and getting her the black one. I have the pink one. AAA+++

I have had two other players and was never happy with them. I purchased an IPOD and after a week returned it. I don't get the hype. This Sony has much better sound than any other player I have looked at or listened to. It is much easier to use. I think the video player with such a small screen is really a waste and would have preferred the FM radio. But the picture in the video player was very sharp.

i bought it last month, and found it has wonderful sound, doesn't give pressure to ears and you can enjoy the music for hours without feeling any discomfort. i have used several other brands but i always had complaints about the ear pain due to sound... battery goes for longer than most of others and has nice features to adjust according to your need.

This is the first MP3 player I have ever purchased, and I could not be happier with the Sony. Once you install the included Windows media player, transferring music from CDs to player is incredibly easy. I have about 38 CDs loaded so far, and have used just over half of the 4G. The sound quality is amazing, and there is an equalizer so you can customize the sound. The picture on the website does not do justice to the very pretty light rose color of the player. The finish is very durable. I carried the player for about a week before I got a case for it, and there is not one scratch on it. The controls are easy to understand and use. I would highly recommend this product to anyone.

They shipped it super fast. I got it in about 4 days. I can't believe how much this thing holds while still being smaller, and slimmer, than my RAZR. I usually don't like the color pink but it seems to fit it. I absolutely love it. :)

After my wifes mp3 player lost it's ability to keep a charge, I decided to try this sony out. Has great reviews and every thing I own is sony! So I figured it would be very compatible with everything. Easy to use, better sound than the nano and cheaper. We are having problems though. 1. Have not seen any art work, possibly user error! However I do consider myself pretty much GADGET FRIENDLY! 2. The sound has a mind of its own, will get louder, then get quiet, loud etc. That I believe is not a user error! I know how to load an mp3 player! Thats that so being that it has great sound, when working, i'm going to exchnge the walkman for another walkman and hope it was just a bad player. Rec. to anyone.

I am so glad I bought this mp3 player. It was so easy to download the songs to. I was so close to buy an Ipod but I am much happier with this one. I will be buying the same one for my daughter for Xmas.

I am 35 and this is my first tech purchase. It easy to use. I didn't need any help to figure this item out. The CD was very helpful. The battery holds up well. It's great.

I received this for my birthday. I fell in love with it. I had been trying to figure out which one to get. I went to a popular rating web site and this was rated at the top. Then I went to the BB web site and read through the reviews. I figured if so many people were happy with it I might as well give it a try. And I love it. And for the price. Super easy to use. Even for those of us not computer savy. I would recommend this to any one who asked my opinion.
