I know people stream a lot of music these day's as well as I do. but, i bought this c.d. player because I still enjoy playing c.d.s it sounds good easy to use if you have c.d.s and are looking for a player this is a good easy to use player for the price.

Very difficult to find this piece of equipment since few people actually listen to CDs anymore. This turned out to be very compatible with the rest of our equipment. Easy to set up and works great.

Great product for a great price. Does more than I need, which I haven't had the opportunity to experiment with yet. Easy to follow instructions for set-up and operating. I like the carousel operation versus the cartridge like I had before.

This replacement for my 10 year old 5 disc CD player is GREAT ~ it was relatively easy to install, works GREAT and keeps the house filled with quality sound ... all at a reasonable price.

So I had two Denon 5 disc CD players stop working within 2 weeks of each other. No complaints though since I bought them both back in 2000-2002. I decided to replace them with new Denon models. Guess what, nobody sells a CD player anymore...because everything is digitally downloaded. So in my search there were basically 2 companies still making a CD player...Sony and Onkyo. I did some research and found the Sony had more to offer, had a better price point, and had a higher customer satisfaction. So I bought 2!!

This is a great sounding CD changer. I use the digital connection and the sound is superb. Features are nice with the USB plug and record via MP3 or Flash Drive.

I had a Sony Multi-disc player that finally died after 10 years. After reading several different player reviews, I purchased the Sony - 5-Disc CD Changer/Recorder - Black. It is an excellent player and I would recommend this product to anyone wanting a 5 disc player. I know the future is in digital only formats, but I have a large Jazz and Blues CD collection and nothing beats a Miles Davis Saturday morning.

I am very happy with my Sony - 5-Disc CD Changer/Recorder. It is very easy to use. I enjoy being able to listen to 5 CDs. It is exactly what I wanted.

Really like this CD player so far. Has great sound quality and is very easy to use and hook up. With the 5 disc you are not changing cd's all the time. Bought 2...one for upstairs and one for downstairs.

A very good quality player and at a good sale price. The ability to load 5 disks and program or scramble the songs played makes it nice.

Needed a replacement for my old player (power surge) and saw this in the store at Best Buy but none in stock and it was on sale for $150 so I went on line at Best Buy.com and it was reduced even further ($115). Apparently they are not stocking this player any longer. GREAT price for a very good CD player. It has a manual but if you ever used one before you don't need it. Very straight forward.

Well I could ask for more, but then I would have to buy a full 200-CD changer. This 5-disk changer does everything I need - plus more!! I didn't know there was USB hook-up until I finally read the instructions! (silly me!) Hookup was instant - a true 'plug & play' style, quality is great. The only minor "issue" is the change between CD's is noisy. But I love the device and so happy I found one so affordable and so quickly!

Most of my audio equipment is Sony. They have always been a leader in the industry. I have never had a problem with any of my purchases over the last 20+ years. Even though a lot of people are moving away from CDs, I had the need for one and was able to locate this multi disc player and recorder. Thank you Sony for an excellent product and thank you Best Buy for making it available at a reasonable price.

I replaced a very old version of this CD player with Sony and am very pleased with it's quality and ease of operation.

This chamger is really good and a steal at $99! And it's a cd recorder to! Sound is quite good depending on your other components!! Can't beat it for $99!

I bought this CD player to replace one that was over 20 years old . The Sony player was easy to install and I have no complaints with it. I like the five CD changer which the old JVC player did not have.

Its hard to find a multi disc player these days. This is a nice player at a good price. Sound is good, easy to use

I was looking for a CD player for my home setup so I wasn't limited to listening to my CDs in my pickup. I checked reviews and settled on the Sony. @ 1st I thought there was a problem as music played through it sounded REALLY scratchy BUT I had it connected to the phonograph outlet on my tuner. I was informed phonograph connections were different than other audio connections and once I switched to an ancillary connection the player sounded fine and I didn't have to buy new speakers (mine are like 40 years old!). it sounds great and works well with the remote. I'm completely happy.

sounds great and easy to use but does get hot so make sure its not totally inclosed
