Its shows images very well and projects sound. The Google TV interface is easy to understand, operate and its easy to set up apps. The native sound is not that great but we added a sound bar that works great. The onboard memory is not enough and we had to add a USB flash drive to store apps and the necessary memory.

It’s next gen console ready with HDMI 2.1 and VRR, it supports Dolby Vision, and it’s a whole lot of TV for the price. I would recommend this tv for anyone needing a TV for brightly lit rooms or rooms with a lot of windows. The screen glare is present but the brightness of the TV makes it nearly unnoticeable except for the darkest of scenes. In dark rooms you will notice a bit of halo effect, but that is to be expected for a non OLED. There are plenty of local dimming zones and that helps a lot with minimizing the halo effect that is present. I cannot really comment on the onboard speakers because we have it set up to a Bose soundbar, but the best I can describe it with the little bit I played around with the onboard audio is decent.

Glad I paid the extra money to upgrade to this. Full array LED and more powerful processor definitely make a truly observable difference. Great sound for a TV, too.

Is There A Way to have Everything Done at Once?

In my large downstairs room, the sound is wonderful. Set-up by Geek Squad was easy and explanations were concise. ATT however prevented adding Netflix and I spent 3 hours trying to get it set-up again. Finally, ATT added an alternate internet account. Frustrating beyond belief!

It will wipe out channels already added and when you try to add them back in ,you have to do a complete re scan . Sony needs to fix this issue.

I also have a Samsung Q70 2019 and this blows it out of the water. The Dolby vision 4K looks amazing. I plan on buying a Dolby atmos sound bar soon but the tv speakers are the best I have heard on a newer tv. Great buy

I think a tv like this is so complicated to know if I have settings correctly set to watch 4K or Dolby Vision. I think it’s a good picture overall and fulfilled a life long dream to own a Sony TV but from my 2015 Samsung 1080p I can’t really tell it’s that much better.
