Greater starter lens, I’ve shot over 100k sports photos with this lens and it’s still going. Not great in low light but I feel its value is worth the boat for a relatively “cheaper” lens.

My Sony SteadyShot lens is a game changer pics come out sharp and clear, and the stabilization keeps everything smooth even when I’m shooting handheld. Super reliable and makes low-light shots way easier. Definitely one of my go-to lenses.

Absolutely no complaints. It's everything I wanted and more for the $300, in comparison to other E-Mount lenses with twice the focal length for almost five times the price. I find myself outside every night that the sky is clear, re- and disassembling my camera like a sniper rifle so I can take another picture of the moon with this lens.

For a budget zoom lens it does the job pretty well, a bit fuzzy in some cases and focusing can be kind of annoying but it works very well and gets pretty good and clear photos

The Sony E 55-210mm f/4.5-6.3 OSS is one of a familiar breed of lenses: an entry-level telephoto zoom lens designed to be paired with the standard 18-55mm kit zoom. I purchased this lens for an airshow in my area. It exceeded my expectations for such an inexpensive lens. The day of the airshow started off cloudy which took a little extra time to figure out the focus capabilities of the lens. By the afternoon the clouds broke and we had partly sunny skies but by that time I had dialed in the focus enough to get some good pictures. This lens is a great option for someone looking for a good quality telephoto lens that isn't going to break the bank. In all, the value for the quality and results is perfect for what I am going to use the lens for (Sports and action shots).

This is a great starter lens, especially for the cost! I couldn’t be happier with the lens and it’s a perfect match for the A6400 (entire line, too). The resolution is very clear, near and far photos. Fantastic lens!

I use this lens with my A7ii (full-frame) all the time. Many people say you can’t use an APS-C lens with a full frame sensor camera due to vignetting (or other reasons), but personally i havent had or seen an issue with it. If you do see a difference its a small fix on lightroom. Perfect budget-friendly beginner lens whether you have a crop or full frame sensor. I’ve added some RAW (unedited) pics for reference.

Been wanting this lens for 6 years and finally broke down and bought it - very worth it... just have to get used to it especially when taking up close pictures it looks "zoomed in" so need to get comfortable with it but overall it takes great pictures!

I was hoping this lens would do well inside a building that was not that well lit. It did NOT disappoint !! I got some really nice long reach action shots that the object was nice and clear. I am really impressed with it Sony !!!

The Sony 55-210mm f/4-6.3 telephoto lens has become my favorite lens. It is very light and small, a little bit bigger than the kit lens, but it is still small and very easy to use. I find myself using it often. It worked perfectly to take some pictures of the eclipse even though I didn't use a tripod.

Bought this lens to go with my Sony alpha a7 mirrorless camera. I am very pleased with the quality of pictures it can take when it comes to zooming in. Extremely clear, so editing doesn’t take as long. Very very happy with this purchase for sure. Attached is one of the pictures I took with this awesome lens.

I had purchased this lense along with Sony A5000 and I was never disappointed. It allows you to take amazing pictures even if there’s a bit of a distance between you and yoursubject.

Bought this to add some range to my a6300, typically shoot with with a 28/1.8. After reading all the reviews there was little to no other option. There are maybe three zoom lenses for the e-mount system. So few options that this is actually the kit lens when you buy the zoom lens camera body. Don't let the fact that this is really your only option turn you off, this is a very good lens. Zooms way in and takes really good crisp pictures even zoomed all the way in and hand held...if you have the right settings on your camera.

I've been looking for a good telephoto lens in my price range and was super excited to stumble across this one. This lens is a good introduction to macro photography without distorting the zoom quality. I really enjoy how lightweight it is and how easily it can fit in my camera bag.
