Worth it!

It's everything I wanted and more for the $300, in comparison to other E-Mount lenses with twice the focal length for almost five times the price. I find myself outside every night that the sky is clear, re- and disassembling my camera like a sniper rifle so I can take another picture of the moon with this lens.

Good for the price

Great lens for a great price

It exceeded my expectations for such an inexpensive lens. The day of the airshow started off cloudy which took a little extra time to figure out the focus capabilities of the lens. By the afternoon the clouds broke and we had partly sunny skies but by that time I had dialed in the focus enough to get some good pictures. This lens is a great option for someone looking for a good quality telephoto lens that isn't going to break the bank. In all, the value for the quality and results is perfect for what I am going to use the lens for (Sports and action shots).

Phenomenal lens for beginners and the price

Used with A7ii (full frame)

Many people say you can’t use an APS-C lens with a full frame sensor camera due to vignetting (or other reasons), but personally i havent had or seen an issue with it. If you do see a difference its a small fix on lightroom. Perfect budget-friendly beginner lens whether you have a crop or full frame sensor. I’ve added some RAW (unedited) pics for reference.

New toy

It is very light and small, a little bit bigger than the kit lens, but it is still small and very easy to use. I find myself using it often. It worked perfectly to take some pictures of the eclipse even though I didn't use a tripod.

I am very pleased with the quality of pictures it can take when it comes to zooming in. Extremely clear, so editing doesn’t take as long. Very very happy with this purchase for sure. After reading all the reviews there was little to no other option. There are maybe three zoom lenses for the e-mount system. So few options that this is actually the kit lens when you buy the zoom lens camera body. Don't let the fact that this is really your only option turn you off, this is a very good lens. Zooms way in and takes really good crisp pictures even zoomed all the way in and hand held...if you have the right settings on your camera.

Great lens for the price!

I purchased the lens for my girlfriend who has a Sony a6000 camera. She is learning much about her camera still but has found the lens to be perfect for nature photography. The lens was great for shooting images of the Rocky Mountains and for the price point of $350 you can't be upset with the quality of the lens and images it takes.
