This TV really stood out among the wall display at my Best Buy. I thought at first that the settings were just different, but was informed that the contrast was set to 100% on all of them. I knew then I had to have this TV. Setup was easy; a few screws attached the TV to the base, and it was done. Sony's interface is surprisingly good - clear, simple, and easy to use. Connecting to my home WiFi was a breeze. I haven't watched a 3D movie yet, but I played with the 3D simulator. It's cute, but I can't say I was terribly impressed, nor should I have been. Without real 3D information, there's no way to accurately simulate it. Still, it does give a more "crisp" appearance to just about any show. My only real complaint is the goofy remote control design. A ring of buttons surrounds the central "joystick"-style control. The joystick is fine, but it's hard not to want to hit those big colorful ones right next door. Worse, one of the buttons is for Netflix - something I don't use. I understand corporate partnerships, but still it's a little annoying to have it permanently affixed to my hardware. A solid TV and a great purchase for the price. I'm happy!

Excellent television with 3D. The screen is precise and clear. The sound does not hiss when the volume is turned up loud. The 3D feature brings movies to life... you actually feel like you are part of the movie. The pictures and sounds are very clear and crisp.

The picture quality on this television is great. This is my first LED and I love the 3D on it. You feel like you're a part of the action when watching 3D on this television and the picture when watching 1080 content is outstanding. You definitely would not be disappointed with this great buy at BestBuy.

Overall I am very satisfied. The picture is amazing especially for sports and action films. The sound isn't as good as I was expecting. It is easy to setup, use and program. This is one of my top purchases.

I love this TV. I had a Plasma for before it died and the Sony picture puts the plasma picture to shame. The HD picture jumps out at you. The characters on the screen look like they are going to walk right into you living room and that's just the 1080 2D viewing. 3D is great too. WI FI connects seamlessly. Hundreds of apps to choose from, endless entertainment.

The picture on this TV is fantastic. The 3D makes it even better. I did not think I would use the 3D that much, but now I am hunting for more 3D movies. I am hooked.

Even though we purchased the 55 inch tv it is perfect in our family room and the picture is great. Color and clarity.

We went to the store and saw the picture on this sony bravia and decided to get it that day, great price and great picture, color and easy set up.

This set replaced my 55 " Sony/Bravia, which is still working great. Got it for the drop in price & the fact that SONY finally went with the passive 3D. Set looked great out of the box, and even better after the usual break-in & some tweaking. The 3D is great for movies & gaming, (Xbox 360). The glasses are light weight & inexpensive. (You can use the Real-3D glasses from the theatre). The 2D-3D conversion adds depth to standard programming and games. Also, handy being able to stream media, photos, movies, music, etc., right from my flash-drive.

This Sony Television have a great picture, is fairly easy to use, and is easy to see from the side, which has not been the case in earlier models. This TV is great for watching sports, nature shows, etc.

I have had 2 Sony LCD tv's for the past 5 years. Both amazing to this day. I needed to replace a very old tv. This is my first LED. Because we love our other Sony's we decided to check out this one despite several recommendations toward Samsung. As soon as we saw this tv, it was an easy choice. The picture is amazing and I love the fact that Sony significantly reduced the tv housing. The only thing of concern is watching out for any lighting(as in anything with a lightbulb) that is in a position to reflect in the tv. We have some lights that hang down that must be off or they reflect and cause "rainbows" in the screen. Use peripheral lighting and you're good.

I love this TV. Not only does it have a Beautiful Picture, but I love all the added things it has. The 3D is also fantastic. This is a GREAT TV for any home.

From I setup Hdtv to accept HDMI it has been a new world for watching broadcasted cable tv, bluray and ps3. The picture is so vivid it's as realistic as possible. I use the sony soundbar to further the experience and have no regrets paying what I did. When I did. Definitely buy if a deal is available. And.... If you have all sony products. One sony ps3 remote will suffice and operate everything.

The set-up was easy, the picture and colors are very real, sounds great.

This is a nice upper-midrange TV - good color and contrast, good sound (after adjusting from flat factory-delivered settings), Netflix and others right from the TV menu, easy to set up and connect to the internet. It's a Sony, so it's a bit pricey, but it's beautiful both on and off. I'll probably never use the 3D, which jacks up the price, but it comes with 4 sets of viewing glasses, which is a nice touch.

Perfect television. Excellent quality of picture and very fluid stream of images beyond the Hz rating.

As other reviewers have stated, the picture is great right out of the box. And although I have friends that prefer the Samsung picture, I still prefer the Sony over Sharp (soft) and Samsung (splotchy). Sound is a little weak, but not worse than other sets of this type. My only complaint, relatively minor, is that Sony moved the buttons around on the remote and the new placement is not as intuitive as the older Sony remotes.

I have a slightly lower priced Samsung 55" TV and I think the picture on this is a little bit better. The difference corresponds with the price though. I am happy with the Sony and also the Samsung. Believe the Samsung model I have is 6400 series. I think it is a little better TV than the lower end 55" TV. Kind of consider this mid level.

LOVE IT. THE PICTURE QUALITY IS VERY CLEAR AND THE COLORS ARE BEAUTIFUL.WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TV TO FRIENDS.
