yeah TV what you or we want to have everything or the best quality? But always it's something the you pay too much or you got match or great price but it's missing something. Tv looks great but the speakers we not suppose pay extra for it that's what beauty it's all about tv is picture and sound don't take away!!! Price little too high but if comes with a lot of gifts or nice accessories includes it will be great...

TV was defective, worked with Sony's technical support, they said they would arrange for a white glove exchange. Told me to call back with ticket number in 2 days for tracking info. When I called back, they had never arranged for the exchange and just left me high and dry. I returned the TV to Best Buy. I will NEVER purchase another Sony product based my customer service experience with Sony

The picture quality is good however the audio is poor. The sound level must be placed on 60 or above in order to hear the dialogue. My previous Sony only had to be at the 25 level to get adequate sound.

I bought the TV after seeing it announced at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) earlier in the year and it completely lives up to expectations. The image quality is out of this world when using 4K content such as that available on Netflix and I have the new Sony Media Player on order for more 4K content. Other content is up scaled and while it doesn't look as good as native 4K content the image quality is much better than 1080P televisions and with this set you're future proofed for sometime. I mounted the TV myself, with the help of a neighbor, using the Sanus VXF532-B1 and it looks awesome! It took sometime to mount as the studs were not spaced according to the 16" or 24" standard. The VXF532-B1 therefore needed to be drilled with a couple of extra holes to fix the mounting plate to the wall. The VXF532-B1 is an awesome mount for this TV and I'd recommend both the mount and the TV to anyone. I'm also using the AudioQuest 4K rated HDMI cables from Magnolia.

After purchasing the Samsung 4K 8550 two weeks ago, I was a little disappointed in the picture quality. I took the set back to Best Buy and upgraded to the Sony X900b. I'm so glad I did. The picture quality is night and day better vs. the Samsung 8550 in my opinion. It was difficult at first to pay the extra $1,200 for the Sony but after we viewed our first 4K movie on it, I am so glad I paid the extra money. Tonight we watched a 1080P movie that we streamed from amazon Prime. The upscaling feature on the Sony made the picture quality look amazing. Not to mention that watching football on this set in football mode is unbelievable. It sounds like you are at the game. Turn your speakers up to get the most out of this feature.

I've spent way too much time researching TVs. I had a Pioneer Elite 42" panel and tend to be really picky with my electronics. Nothing I had seen looked better to me than the Elite I already owned. After talking with the Best Buy Sony salesperson for a few weeks I decided the 55X850B would be a good replacement. The price was very attractive, and although the TV looks great and it's better than its competition the color and black levels could be better. I resisted the 55x900B because of the price but after returning the 850B and getting the 900B into my home the difference is clear. I was really impressed with the way this TV handles movies, watching the fight sequence from Batman between him and Bane in the dark was a great test. It handles the darks like my plasma did. I use this TV for gaming most of the time, I've connect my Xbox One and you would swear the icons are 4K. The upscaling on this TV is the difference between Sony and other brands. I know 4K content is sparse right now but with the upscaling this TV make the jump to 4K worth it, and we get 4K blu-Rays next year. Watching Comcast 720p broadcast TV looks very clear and Motion is excellent. If you've been waiting to upgrade to 4K and want the quality of a high end plasma this is the TV to get. My only gripe is the Speakers, they sound great but I don't need them. If I had the money I would have the 65x950B, better picture and no speakers. I'll live with it for the picture quality. If you're debating between the 850 series or the 900 don't let the speakers stop you from getting the best picture for your money, unless you can afford the 950.

This 4K TV passes all expectations for picture quality for native and 4k upscaling. 3D is almost perfection. Apps are acceptable along with remote with dedicated Netflix button. Streams 4K Netflix. Seems to be future proof with all the right acronyms. Did a ton of research. At this time it comes free with 699. 4K media player, 299. 100W wireless subwoofer as well as 100. Amazon prime Ultra HD credit...again outstanding

This is our first big screen t.v. and we love it. We think the speakers facing the front gives much better sound. It comes with a cover for the camera and microphone, which is good if you are on the internet. We have not tried the internet much, only to download a few applications. The 3D experience (comes with 2 pairs of glasses) was terrific. I have just a little trouble navigating the menus, but that is probably just me, as I am in the seniors class. For movies I use an AudioengineD1 box that converts the optical-digital output on the t.v. to audio R and L for a headphone amplifier. Pressing mute on the t.v. does not turn the headphones off. For us it was a great buy.

This TV was an excellent upgrade. And with the free media player, subwoofer, and $100 Amazon 4K movie credits I'm able to enjoy the movies as they are meant to be experienced. I'll never go back to 1080P now.

I have a pioneer 110 elite .Decided to get this sony XBR 4k ,compared the to tv's side by side. The sony out of the box was as good as the pioneer (the pioneer was ISF calibrated). After about 200 hours i calibrated the sony with the (spears & Munsil ) blu ray ,picture and sharpness little better.A week later I had the Geek Squad(ISF certified) calibrate the Sony XBR 4k tv when he was done , Holy cow the Sony tv picture & sharpness un believable (wow) . The Sony with Geek squad calibration put the Pioneer 110 elite to shame.

Had time to get acquainted with this for a couple of months now and am still in awe of the black levels, the incredible 4K upscaling (contrast) of standard blu-rays, vibrant yet realistic color saturation, backlight uniformity, and active 3D rendering. It doesn't stop there; Even before hooking up the wireless subwoofer (presently included in the price), you'll notice bass levels uncommon to most (if not all) other offerings out there. Mainly due to the sheer size and technology of the drivers on both sides of the screen. Well done Sony! And well done Best Buy!

I ordered this product online on Saturday Jan 31, 2015 and when it posted the second included Free Bonus, the Sony 4K Ultra HD Media Player FMPX10 - item was not added. I purchased anyway assuming I would be able to reach Customer Service and get the promotional item added. I've spoken to 10 or 12 different customer support agents in Online sales, Post Purchase Support, The Back Office research team. I had a couple of very capable people over the course of 3.5 hours actually on the phone with these agents throughout Jan 31 and Feb 1st. Fenton in Customer Care, Tonya in Post Purchase and another young lady in Post Purchase. However, the remaining agents that I spoke too went to extremes to help me understand that I was wrong and Ms. Betty Fitzpatrick made me feel as if Iwas trying to steal money from Best Buy. She stepped in on Feb 1 just after noon after I asked to be elevated to a manager as I had already invested over two hours in calls with best buy and had been dropped a couple times in the process. Ms. Betty Fitzpatrick proceeded to make me feel as if she thought I was trying to steal money from Best Buy and like several before her, went out of their way to make me understand that Best Buys' order process could not be wrong and I was not due a free Sony 4K Ultra HD Media player because they could not find it in the system. The offer I purchase under had expired at midnight and of course it was not in the system. She did not even try to look at other orders of the same SKU on saturday online or in my purchase area to validate whether I was referring to a valid order. I also offered to send in a copy of the screen shop of all of the bonus offers that was in the advertisement. I copied the Best Buy site information because I wanted to have it as proof. NO ONE EVER ACCEPTED MY OFFER TO EMAIL THEM THE INFORMATION.!!! Tonya in Post Purchase Dept actually found a way to confirm the Media Player was a part of the offer, but unfortunately both she and her manager was unable to authorize adding it to my order. She too tried to transfer me to the Delivery Dept when she found someone that could assist in ordering the part and had the correct level of authority. Oh well, the transfer dropped and I ended up explaining the story again for the 11th time to some one else. I can afford to buy the player outright, but Best Buy advertised a deal and then did not execute. Then its agents, minus a few good ones, made me feel like I was trying to pull a quick one. Funny thing, if they would have looked at my Best Buy program account, they would have seen that I historically save my major purchases for Best Buy. However, this experience plus a 3.5 iPhone purchase has worn down my resolve. I'm done with Best Buy! As an elite member i hate to say it but Best Buy is now no longer my preferred place to buy. I've canceled the order for the television bundle and will be moving forward to buy from another online provider. What a Super Bowl Weekend Best Buy. I waited to buy this during your big super bowl weekend sale and I ended up the Super Bowl turkey. Its been a nice run, but I shall move on with someone new :-) Oh yeah, the other funny thing After all of that, I was not able to have the last agent cancel the order and I could not cancel it directly in Best Buy .com because it was in delivery scheduling hands.
