Love the Video - made the right purchase

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Only had it a few weeks, replacing an old 46” Sony that developed a few dead pixel columns, but am very satisfied with the video on this OLED screen. Audio also good, but I usually listen on headphones via blue tooth (via separate blue tooth transmitter fed by the TV’s optical audio out) so doesn’t matter as much as it otherwise might. Reasons for 4 instead of 5 stars: (1) had to call Sony on day 2 because the TV lost the WiFi signal and couldn’t find it again (hard reset and software update fixed this) and (2) have had to do hard resets a couple more times because Paramount+ app stopped working. The resets fixed it each time and hasn’t happened a third time, and it’s been a week or more. Bottom line - I’m glad I bought and have no regrets.

Not as impressed as I hoped to be

It was recommended twice by the staff and when I got it home I thought I would be really impressed with the picture quality, but I was not. I was impressed with the ease of set up and programming but now that we are just viewing, I feel the quality is the same as what we had before (in a 5 year old tv). Also, initially the remote easily paired with my ATT uverse box but that stopped working and now won’t recognize the DVR anymore even when trying to reconnect them. This unit was on sale so I do feel it was good value but I had hoped for a little more.

You may change the picture setting of the TV using the Sony Remote by Pressing the HOME button, then select [Settings] — [Display & Sound] — [Picture]. This will let you fine-tune your TV picture based on your preference or select one of our preset picture settings.
