Great picture! Easy set up! Was open box special! Said it was scratched but there is absolutely nothing wrong with it except the remote control was missing! Best Buy employees did get us one but we left it at the register lol! We have always had good luck with Sony branded products!

3 inches larger than my 2005 sony... very good picture...lots of fine tuning settings....hope it lasts 20 yrs too ...

I bought the Sony Bravia 5 xr50 for the true colors it gives. I looked at other brands and they seemed washed out looking. I also wanted to use my surround sound system with my new tv purchase. My old tv was a Sony from 2008 and had the optical audio out connection. Side note my old Sony is still working just fine, but is not 4k. If you are looking for a tv with great picture quality and connecting to a surround sound system this is the one.

Great TV had a little problem with the sound not matching the picture and paid Best Buy Geek squad to deliver and set up the TV. Called them to fix the problem but couldn’t get them to come out for a week. It took me a couple of days to figure it out and it works great. Love the TV but not real happy with Geek Squad. However I have to say that in the past they have taken good care of me.

Never spent this much on a tv, so worth it! Black Friday price discount helped though. Color, clarity and sound are amazing. Set up was super easy. The multitude of options to adjust the sound, brightness and color made customizing to our preferences perfect.

Love the TV so far with a few comments to reduce the rating a bit. Setting up all the features was a little more complicated than I thought it would be, maybe it's just me. The thing that stumped me for a bit was the setup to run both internal and external speakers at the same time. Once I got the settings right it works just fine. Another comment is that there is some glare on the screen from external light, I had to turn the tv a little bit to reduce the glare. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase and the TV after I got it set up the way I wanted it.

Previously purchased next size down price wise. Not happy with that picture so I asked if I could return it. I had 30 days so I returned it and got the next size up pricewise. I had no problem. I love the new TV. However, when I went to the store to pick up the new one, it took me 30 minutes to find someone to help me there was no one there. I’m elderly and I kept going back to the desk telling them there’s no one there. Finally, somebody did appear other than that. The transaction went well.

The TV is fine but the salesman was pushy about reapplying for my credit card; which I haven't used in years. I informed him several times I was paying cash. I realize salesmen have to inform customers of all available opportunities but when I said I was not interested I didn't like that he kept on..He's only doing his job but i was annoyed

We like this tv. Good quality picture and good sound. The anti glare is not quite as good as advertised, but the streaming apps work without freezing and the remote is responsive.
