It is a good television, as one would expect from Sony. It has a nice stand that does not wiggle as so many of them do. So I'm not worried about it falling over, or of the table. I am planning on wall mount, when i find mount that I like. It is a little high priced, but I have come t expect that with Sony products. Picture quality is excellent, sound is average, but I have surround sound system to take care of that problem. The sound is quite a bit better than the Samsung that I replaced. With that one you had to have sound up at least half way just to hear it. I would recommend this TV to a friend

Sony - 65" Class (64-1/2" Diag.) - LED - 1080p - 120Hz - Smart - 3D - HDTV Sony KDL65W850A LED HDTV: With a 1080p TRILUMINOS display, this Sony TV ensures true-to-life colors and natural-looking skin tones. Built-in Wi-Fi allows you to wirelessly stream movies, shows and music. Sony 65 inch LED TV was very clean and crisp picture quality for gaming watching movies and much more but the screen did get a little hot however there was no Burns and Screen which is why I prefer LED over plasma although plasma does get hot LED does also but not as much as plasma

Best 1080p 64 inch TV for gaming on market

I did a lot of research searching for the best 64 inch tv available for gaming. This TV can do it all with no problem. This tv is excellent for video games having such a low lag time and of course viewing TV with amazing colors. I was used to playing video games on my trusty LG 42 incher for years but this monster of a beast does it better. The sound is awesome. The image quality is fantastic. I am extremely satisfied with the purchase.

Purchased this tv as a floor model and couldn't be happier. The staff was very helpful and accommodating in getting us what we needed to have it work as if it were coming from an unopened box! Great customer service...

We are excited to become even more familiar with all that our TV can do. We are still learning. Had to go back to store to get more info on how to work things and they were very helpful.

Wanted to get the best 2G picture quality possible in a 65 in TV and the Best Buy staff wisely directed me toward this set. Excellent picture for sure but using the internet browser is not as easy as I had hoped. Sound from the built in speakers is really quite good and excellent compared to my previous Samsung 54in LCD set.

Beautiful picture; it really pops. Variations of shades, such as a dark navy blue suit against a black background, really stand out. I couldn't be more pleased with this TV. the Best Buy sales force were a pleasure to deal with—even opened the carton to confirm the date of manufacture, and price-matched Sony's EPP price.

We started out with a Sony of the same price and quality but were unhappy with the sharpness and exchanged it for the Samsung. The Samsung to be much better.

I have only had this for about a month. It is a great set. Colors are very vivid and it is set for warm. This is the first Sony I have owned in years, and so far I am glad I gave it a try. No disappointment.

Overall an excellent TV packed with features. Set-up and settings are a bit time consuming, many options; color, motion, menu options, home network access. The product is over priced in todays market and may not be the best value for your money. If you do not use or need the majority of the functions available, you may be better off with another set. I would not recommend this set for audio quality, it is a must to combine the TV with a quality sound system.

Typical Sony product. High quality. I purchased a 46" Sony 5 yrs ago which still has a great picture and has given me absolutely no problems. I wanted a bigger screen size for the den so the 46" is now in the master bedroom. I am totally satisfied with this purchase. I also have a 45" Vizio which has been reliable but the picture quality is not near as good.

This Tv has an amazing picture quality with relatively high color accuracy out of the box. Skin tones look wonderful and are not overblown out of the box as with some current generation tvs. The building materials and base are extremely high quality. The Smart TV interface looks very nice and works well but can be sluggish at times.

As expected, Sony once again delivers the best of the best! (Side note, my 27" Sony Trinitron CRT still shows great pictures even after 20+ years of continuous operation.) A testament to the great TV products Sony produces.

After watch this Sony TV for the first few days and then going back on the road and looking at hotel TV I was sure disappointed. We weren't shopping for a 3D TV but sure glad we ended up with this, Avatar in 3D is amazing.

We couldn't decide which TV to buy, Samsung Plasma or Sony. We have a 46" Sony Bravia which is being moved to another room - great picture, great support experience so we stuck with Sony. We couldn't connect to the internet so we called Sony support. They walked me through the steps to connect wirelessly. After about AN HOUR they said that my router/internet speed was "inadequate". I called Time Warner and after 30 MINUTES confirmed that they were not "inadequate". I called NetGear support and after another 30 MINUTES confirmed that they weren't "inadequate" either. I called Sony support (got Texas this time) and found that SONY SUPPORT WAS "INADEQUATE"! They walked me through the same steps to connect (I could do it in my sleep by now) and after ANOTHER HOUR they confirmed that . . . the software needed to be updated. They would send me a flash drive with an update to resolve the problem - 7 TO 10 BUSINESS DAYS. It will take time but at least there's a light at the end of the tunnel. 2 Weeks later - No flash drive! The light at the end of the tunnel was a train coming. We called again, and spent another 15 MINUTES talking with Texas Support. OOPs . . . they will "FedEx" another flash drive. No FedEx delivery . . . do you believe it - another train! I swear, I'm not making this up. Called and got Laredo Texas Support again and was told that because of the Presidents Day Holiday, "FedEx didn't pick up" and we should receive the flash drive the next day. ANOTHER 15 MINUTES LOST. No FedEx package by 5PM. My wife called Sony and got Texas Support again. She was told that delivery was guaranteed by 8PM - she asked to speak with a supervisor and was told by Paul that that "wasn't necessary" and that the package would be delivered that evening. My wife called FedEx and was told they don't have a package. Called Sony again: Hello, Laredo - we have a problem. During the course of many calls, my wife spoke with Paul, Francis and EL, and was FINALLY connected to Jack, a "Customer Relations Manager" who insisted that the flash drive would be delivered that night! My wife called FedEx and was told that they didn't have a package for us! Called back Sony. By that time everyone at Sony had a condescending attitude and were boarder line abusive with my wife which only made her more determined to get this resolved. My wife set up a conference call with herself, Chaz at Sony and FedEx. It was only when Chaz heard directly from FedEx that they didn't have a package that his condescending tone changed and he said that another drive would be sent via FedEx. No apology - another excuse. My wife spent at least 3 HOURS on the phone that day - God bless her. Happy days, the flash drive arrived the next day - with easy to follow instructions. I plugged it into the USB port and tried the upload, and tried again and again with no success. Hello, Sony? This time I was speaking to Jonathan in Central America. There is hope for Sony Support. :) I spent 2 HOURS on the phone with my friend Jonathan repeating many of the same steps I had performed over and over. But there was a difference this time . . . after each failed attempt Jonathan moved on to the next step. He talked me through downloading the upgrade software onto the empty (yes, I said empty) flash drive and we progressed through step after step. During the call I had to explain to Jonathan's supervisor (NOT at my request) why the call was taking so long. Jonathan was now late for lunch but was determined to stay with me until my issue was resolved. Jonathan was a new employee and the only one willing to stick with me until the issue was resolved. I was satisfied and believed that he was doing all he could to resolve my issue. Eventually Jonathan was unable to resolve my issue and had to turn me over to the next level of tech support. I spent another HOUR working with Joseph as he walked me through another sequence of tests which led to the realization that a part needed to be replaced on the TV. He said that I would be contacted by a repairman who would come to my house to take the TV off the wall, open up the back and replace the defective part. (Sony case #E59588554). After 4 weeks, we were now waiting to hear from a repairman who will fix my "not so smart" Sony TV . . . HELLO, BEST BUY . . . stupid me, I should have contacted them a few weeks ago. I chose NOT to have the Geek Squad install the TV and was committed to Sony to fix the problem. I spoke to Frank, the manager at Best Buy and explained my dilemma. Next week, the Geek Squad is delivering and installing my NEW TV. Thank you Frank, and as Arnold would say . . . I'll be back! :)
