I've owned this unit a little over a month now. I'm even more amazed at the picture quality now. Maybe my eyes have adjusted? I made a few tweaks to the settings from various forums. Using Cinema Pro for all sources(Directv, Bluray, Apple TV, Firestick). 4K(and HDR) looks great. I didn't think there was a difference initially, but over time...I notice it big time. As for the speakers(which I don't use), somehow they seemed to have 'disappeared' and I don't notice them really. (more importantly...nor does my wife). A little bummed the new 930D was announced, but I'd have to wait months and also pay a higher price. I honestly can't see the 930D pic quality being much different than the 930C. Very happy with this choice. (replaced a 2013 Sharp Aquos that died on me. Get an extended warranty)

While this TV was pricey even on sale, it is an awesome unit. Picture is awesome, sound is really good, and all the technical features of it have made it a new form of entertainment in our household. We are able to watch cable TV, stream movies and other internet content, and use the internet in all forms for entertainment with simple voice commands. It is smart and easy to set up. A great addition to a family that is not "about" watching TV.

I've had my TV for month a now and love it! The picture is great, truly amazing! The sound is great (as long as you know how to adjust in Advanced Settings) because it is loud and the sound quality is great. I was looking at Samsung but Sony is the innovator and best!!!

I originally had a review posted but it seems that it has been deleted. Since I posted my last review I have received another brand new tv directly from sony. This one has the same issues as the previous 3. Excessive light bleed and green smear. I urge everyone who has this tv and anyone who is thinking about buying this tv to look at the picture. Especially around the edges of the screen and in darker scenes. All four have had major pixelation and look very digital. Brighter colors look great but darker are horrible. I previously owned the xbr65900A and that tv had no picture issues until 2 years after purchase the screen got a line going across the whole panel. That is why I bought the 930c because I loved my 900A up until the line going across the screen. Obviously sony panels have gone down hill. No more sony products for me. I tried 4 tvs thinking I just kept getting a defective one but 4 bad tvs with the same issues. I doubt it. The quality just isn't there anymore. I cannot stress enough please view before you buy. I am also curious where my 3 week old review went. Now I am stuck with this tv because best buy will not let me exchange for a different brand. This is even after on all 3 deliveries and 2 calibrations by the geek squad all witnessed the problems and agreed that it was not right. I even bought an 80 dollar monster 4k hdmi cable from best buy and that did not help the picture at all. Also I had directv come out and check my signal, setup, and switch out my box. Nothing has helped. I have 4 other tvs hooked up in my house and none of them have this problem. The sony is the problem.

Great TV, wonderful sound, fantastic salespeople, incredible service by Geek Squad. The integrated speakers are fantastic. The 4k upscaling is miraculous, and the 3D is as good as it is in the theatre. My only problem is that I watch too much TV now!

Great set. Clean, sharp picture, and excellent sound for a TV. I added the wireless sub for better low end sound and that really improved the sound quality, and I use the TV in a huge room with high ceilings, yet it sounds wonderful. Internet features are a real treat. I do not even have it hooked up to my DirecTV. Added a 3-D top=o=the line (Sony) Bluray player and we are good to go. Pricey, but when you consider how much you will use and enjoy it for years, it is a good deal. High quality comes with a price.

The 4K Sony television is everything i expected. The picture clarity and colords are the best that i have ever had.

This sony is the cleanest most crisp imagary i have ever seen on a non plasma display. This replaced my 11 year old Hitachi Director Series plasma unit that had great sound and picture for its time. Finally found something comparable to that which is quite difficult with the scrawny frames that leave no room for bass production any more.. TOPNOTCH@@@!!!

Has the best picture I've seen so far,works great even the updates are easy and the sound is great also!

I love this TV, it has an awesome, incredibly sharp picture. Some problems with the initial download of the smart TV update but the following update happened flawlessly. Love the size, the picture and the features! Watching content in 4K UHD is incredible!

This Sony is a great TV, and the sound is really much better than the other Sony 55 and 65 inch TV's I have owned. I actually bought the wireless sub-wolfer and could not be more pleased. Solid picture, and very user friendly.

The Sony - 65" Class (64.5" Diag.) - LED - 2160p - Smart - 3D - 4K Ultra HD TV is the best TV I have ever purchased. The picture quality is wonderful, black is black and color is vivid. This TV lives up to it's reputation and Sony reclaims a top spot in TV production. Easy set-up and everything works great and as promised.

Colors are amazing through the glass front. Comparing to others with grainy plastic it is very sharp looking and better off angle viewing. Placed in Great Room on 70" cabinet speakers are more than adequate for typical viewing. Upconversion and overall video processing is best in class.

Sony produced an exceptionally good TV receiver. Picture quality is outstanding-it delivers great picture from cable and DVD signal sources. Audio is very good in comparison to most TV speakers. Has to be setup properly to get the volume level and clarity it is capable of achieving.

I love this TV and the sound it gives you and once i added the subwoffer it became even better.

Great TV. Easy to use. Sony has done it again. Only issue is direct tv app doesn't work yet so still need a box.

The graphics are amazing on this Sony 4K TV, with the help of Best Buy I was directed to buy this tv. The quality of the images are just clear and the sound as well.

When I got home and finally turned this TV on I was amazed, the colors just popped out at me. I was able to install an internet browser app so that I can surf the internet from the TV. Overall I love this TV , I returned the Samsung 8500 before purchasing this one.

Beautiful picture and sound quality is superb. The TV also looks really sleek...I wasn't sure about the speakers at first, but I'm happy with it in my living room.
