This is a beautiful TV. I was coming from a 4yr old Sony X950B which is great 4K TV. But, this OLED display and rendering engine is much better. With the proper cables, you get full Dolby Vision and incredible deep blacks and vivid colors. Just note that OLED TV's don't get as bright as LCD/LED TV's. I highly recommend this TV over Samsung or LG. Nothing comes close to Sony quality.

This TV is absolutely beautiful. The crisp picture and the level of blacks is beyond anything I could have expected. It looks great watching 4k movies either through my Xbox one x or through the many streaming options the TV offers built in. And gaming looks fantastic as well. Be it the Xbox or PS4 pro. This was well worth the cost and it makes me happy every time we use it.

After many hours of reviewing and investigating in person Sony and LG OLED tv's I purchased the 65" Sony A8F from Magnolia. My first decision was to determine which TV had a better picture between LG and Sony. Since LG makes the screen for both panels I knew this would be tough to determine the difference and I was correct. The Sony has amazing sound over the LG due to the surface sound technology. Next was to decide whether I go with the Sony A9F or A8F model. Since I have a Bose 700 soundbar and sub at home I went with the A8F due to not needing the additional channel speaker in the screen. I am replacing a Sony XBR-55X930D which had 4k UHD. This new 65" A8F OLED is significantly better and I didn't think that was possible. 100% recommend this version if you are looking for an AMAZING OLED.

Love the quality picture. No problem with color or black being to black. It’s perfect. We do not game just use as an awesome TV. It would help if remote was back lite. Can’t use Echo as we are hooked up to built in surround sound and everything goes through the Sony receiver which is not compatible with Echo. Would definitely recommend

We purchased this TV to replace a Pioneer Plasma TV we had purchased 12 years ago. We are pleased with the picture quality and contrast. The programming has been intuitive. We expect to have this TV 10+ years also.

This TV has a fantastic picture, super dark darks and bright vibrant colors. The only issue is if you plan on using a sound bar you will need to wall mount or lift the tv a few inches as the bottom of the screen is about 1/4” from the bottom.

I came from an LG65C6 which i really liked, it had issues that could not be fixed. The Sony is a lot better at upscaling Direct TV. I uave heard this TV is not as bright which if it is I don’t notice it. The proceesor is much better and everything i watch, Netflix, Prime, Direct TV, and 4k movies is fantastic.

the Sony 65 inch OLED delivers a clear and very contrasted picture with blacks looking absolutely black and the contrast between colors of similar shades clear and sharp. Found this 4K picture to be a significant improvement over the previous 3d 65 inch Sony particularly in the contrast and sharpness.

Crisp, vibrant color. Awesome sound. I was tired of big screen TV's that project the sound out the back. You have to really increase the volume to hear on other big screen TV's, but not this one. The sound projects out straight at you. You do not need lots of volume to hear.

Was very easy to set up and the picture and sound are awesome. The color is vibrant and the black is perfect. Previously I had a 50 inch plasma which I was very happy with. This is much much better. Hopefully it last long enough for me see the Jets in the Super Bowl some day!

I’ve owned several TVs. Got my first LED flat screen (42”) over 10 years ago. Upgraded to a 55” LED about 5 years ago. Decided it was time to upgrade the man-cave this year. Wanted a current technology and the best I could afford. I found my perfect choice in this OLED HDTV. Spectacular screen resolution, perfect size @ 65”, and the best price I could find from Best Buy. I’ve had this TV for over 2 weeks now. I have not been disappointed in the slightest. It’s a wonderful TV... one that will be current years from now and it well worth the investment.

Beautiful picture, contrast and color. I feel like sitting 3 feet in front of it because the picture is so clear and colorful. TV setup was quick and easy. It takes a while to find certain menu items but that's part of the fun of getting a new TV. Would definitely recommend.

I originally pre-ordered and received the new TCL 75" Series 6. Needed to replace an 11 year old plasma. Three weeks of waiting for a big disappointment. Good picture only if directly in front of it. As soon as you move slightly off center, the degradation was severe and quick. Was spoiled by the old plasma. So returned it for this Sony 65" OLED. More money for a smaller screen. Very happy. No degradation in picture no matter the viewing angle. Blacks are black and colors are vivid. I've set up with custom settings and don't need the brightness set at max. This is even in a large great room environment with lots of light. Would have liked a bigger OLED, but too big a jump in price. I watch mostly satellite-based sports programs (golf, tennis, ESPN, etc) and it does a great job. Haven't watched any 4K video yet, but sure it will look fantastic considering how well it's doing with the satellite programming.

Personally I prefer the LG interface for ease of use, and the LG is cheaper. But if you want the android functions or are a big fan of the Sony design, this TV is definitely one of the best you’ll find out there. Excited to see any new OLED models that come out.

The picture is great especially after calibration. OLED's are king when it comes to picture quality. The processor I feel is better compared to my LG CX, it handles motion better as well as upscaling. My only gripe is Android TV which is not as stable as LG's WebOS. The apps are a bit buggy and I have to restart the TV every now and then. Restarts take long like a smart phone.

Only negatives are Android Smart TV OS and lousy remote. The operating system is slow and freezes, which can be very frustrating. There are a lot of apps, but not we'll layed out. The remote is incredibly subpar for a TV at this price point. Fortunately I have a Logitech remote. Very happy with picture quality. Typical knock on Sony OLED is that LG is brighter, but I don't prefer the overbright LG picture. It's just a matter of preference.

I upgraded to the Sony OLED 65” and could not be happier. The colors are so rich and vibrant. Deep blacks help make images pop. The speakers on the TV are not very good so I had to supplement with a Sonos Soundbar. Sounds a lot better.

This tv has a fantastic picture, great contrast and color, decent sound-voice projection is great due to screen acting as mid/upper range speaker, this tv compares very favorably to C8 LG, OS is android and needs a bit of tweaking

Bought a 65" 4K Sony OLED HDTV to replace a similar model that I had purchased about 2 1/2 years ago. Power surge took out the first TV and as you might have guessed, the initial warranty had expired and I had not purchased the extended TV warranty. The Best Buy Geek Squad team of Kevin and Trell had the new TV up in short order but we realized that the new TV did not cover the wall outlet and HDMI port that had been installed for the first TV. They were able to remount the wall unit so that the new TV covered the outlet in short order. They picked up and removed the old TV and the packaging for the new TV and even cleaned up the dust created with the wall unit relocation. I was completely satisfied with the TV and the Geek Squad 's performance.

Im a very cautious buyer when it comes to major purchases. I researched all 65 inch plus HD TV’s online and in-store before buying. You can never be sure until it is hanging on your wall and you are viewing it. Let me tell you that I am very happy with my decision. The picture is beautiful with rich vivid colors. The picture jumps out at you when viewing shows in HD. The sound is great. I am viewing from 12-15 feet away and the Sony sound technology is second to none. Invest this TV and you will not be disappointed.
