To download the Direct TV streaming service on your Sony TV, follow these steps:
1. Press the HOME button on your remote control.
2. Navigate to the Apps category at the top of the page using the right arrow key on the remote.
3. Select the search for apps and games option. If you do not see the search icon, press the down arrow key on the remote to display it.
4. Use the microphone on the remote control or the on-screen keyboard on the TV to search for "Direct TV streaming".
5. Select the app you wish to install from the search results.
6. Select Install to download the app.

We purchased it with the advice of the of the sales associate as being a good television for a bright room. It is good, but you can see the glare still on the screen and reflection of the lamps from the room when viewing darker scenes.

Awesome picture quality

The only negative is that these new tvs are insanely fragile, have to be transported standing up, you can’t touch the screen and there are no handles on the back, so I worry about moving it without damaging it when i inevitably move.
