We are pleased to hear that you find your new BRAVIA XR8B an improvement over previous models! If you're finding the screen a bit dim, we recommend going to Settings > Display & Sound > Picture > Brightness and ensuring that Eco Mode and the Ambient Light Sensor are turned off, while setting Peak Luminance to High. For sound, you can boost the volume and clarity by navigating to Settings > Display & Sound > Sound and adjusting the Dialogue Enhancer or changing the Dynamic Range to Compressed to make the audio consistently louder.

Regarding the occasional lag you mentioned with the Google TV OS, a quick tip that often helps is to ensure all your apps are fully updated in the Google Play Store and to occasionally clear the system cache. As for the Wi-Fi dropping, we recommend checking if there is a firmware update available for your TV, as we frequently release stability improvements to keep your connection rock-solid.
