Great help from Best Buy sales person explaining why SONY 65 inch was better than lesser priced similar brands. Proof was evident when got it home and hooked it up. Amazing difference.

Been a Sony fan for the last 20 years, my last Sony Bravia 2 55" lasted on my wall, put it out to the garage for viewing still going strong. The 65" looks great and the picture is a 10 out of 10. Purchased Over Samsung
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had a few Samsung TVs over the years and grew tired of the problems that would develop after 3-4 years with usage. So far everything is amazing on this TV with the exception of the output level of Bluetooth sound. I have to turn the TV volume up to 70 or more of the max range to hear at a normal level with the external speakers volume at max. I've seen another few reviews stating the same. The TV speakers play normal though with the normal volume setting at 24-28. I've looked for a setting that increases the output level but have had no luck. Playing through a home theater system is not an issue either, just Bluetooth. I'm not a Google fan so I do not use any of those features associated with the TV or internet. I predominantly use this TV for watching streamed programming through my Roku and 4K disk movies from an OPPO player.

We are sorry to hear about the low volume output you are experiencing with Bluetooth speakers on your new BRAVIA XR TV. This behavior is sometimes caused by a volume normalization or dynamic range setting.
Please try navigating to the Sound Settings menu and look for Advanced Settings (or Audio output), then find and change the Dynamic Range setting from Standard to Compressed. Compressed mode increases the overall audio level, which should significantly boost the Bluetooth output without needing to use volume 70+. If this does not resolve the issue, un-pair and re-pair your Bluetooth speakers.

The sound is also decent (I did not get a sound bar as I already have a surround sound system by Sony). Tim at my local store was awesome as well as he spent over an hour talking me through the differences between brands. Delivery was quick and went off without a hitch.

OLED looks are great, but the Pixel Shift feature required to prevent burn in (or "image retention") sizes down the screen about 5%. Unreliable Dolby Atmos integration with a SONY STR-DH790 receiver. Sony no longer is bringing worthwhile value on Low to Mid-Tier Screens.

We recommend starting with a simple troubleshooting step: please try performing a power reset on both the TV and the STR-DH790 receiver (unplug both for two minutes, then reconnect and power on). Please also verify that the eARC setting on the TV is set to Enhanced. Regarding Pixel Shift, this feature is standard for all OLED screens to prevent image retention, but if it is overly noticeable, you can adjust or disable it in the Display & Sound > Expert panel settings menu. If these initial steps do not resolve the connectivity issues, please contact our dedicated support team immediately so we can provide in-depth, specific assistance for your setup.
