The Sony X850F is a sleek-looking, easy to set up television. Although I am still learning how to navigate through the menu, I find it simpler that others I have had. It gets a great picture. Great 4K HD television for the money. The only negative is.... some popular streaming sources (like DIRECTV NOW, AMAZONFIRE TV) are not installed, however, you can still access them through external devices.

This TV was an upgrade from a HD Samsung TV and I am very happy with this purchase. This TV has very nice colors and several ways to modify the picture, which is nice. The Samsung i replaced had colors that seemed too bright and this TV has colors that are more natural. Overall - this TV satisfies my 4k cravings and it has Netflix built in so i can see the 4k content there easily. Actually - this TV is an Android device so i can download other apps as well, such as Prime Video, NBC OnDemand, etc. making it easy to stream.

I get to preview commercial video projectors and monitors for work, and I have seen some impressive commercial displays. When I saw the demo in the store I was skeptical, but price was right and I had a bunch of points saved up. Final set up at home was easily done. Fired up a 4K star wars type movie on my 4K player and was not disappointed. Colors are great, contract makes everything pop. Unfortunately I have not had time to set up additional features except WiFi connection. I will probably be hosting a lot of football games at my house this fall. Can't wait.

I will love my Sony 4K TV! It has so many different apps that you can use from Netflix to hulu to Disney plus to pretty much anything you're looking for. GREAT TV! I also bought a Sony 4K player to go with it. Perfect pair, the movies are much better than Blu-ray. I left that for my kids to use with my old Sony 55 inch TV. World of difference!

This TV was recommended to me by a sales representative at Best Buy store, and I am so happy I purchased it. Every penny is worth it. The picture is very clear; it is easy to operate; the sound is great as well.

Great picture great software and easy to setup at a really good price

I was looking for a big size tv for a long time andfinally settled on this one. So far I am having a great experience with this tv including voice and color quality, ease to connect with wifi, ethernet and cable, and I can download apps from android store which is the best thing because many other TVs would have android but you cannot download additional app.

We’ve had this tv for a month now and I feel comfortable in giving a review. My husband and I made this purchase, at the end of January, to replace our less than year old Samsung 55” living room tv that was being moved to our basement gym area. My husband was reluctant at first to even consider buying this Sony because he is or should I say he was a total Samsung loyalist. But, after our Best Buy salesperson convinced him to just take a look at the tv and decide for himself which tv met his quality list. Needless to say, after my husband saw and compared the picture qualities and the interfaces for making adjustments, he was totally sold on this Sony. Knowing that the store’s top quality picture and sound will never be replicated in homes; still my husband was greatly impressed and pleased with both the picture and sound. Once the efficient geek squad installed the Sony tv and Sony sound bar my husband’s exact words were “No more Samsung TVs for us.”

Easy to set up. To really show off the capabilities of the the Sony 850 go to YouTube and ask for 4K content and feast your eyes on that material! It is easy to remove from the box and easy to set up. Just be patient. I have HDMI from the cable box and HDMI from the Blue Ray Player. Fiber optics to the sound bar. We are connected to the homes WiFi.

Picture is amazing, got a surround system with the tv and all works well with great sound and easy to use. I did get a universal remote that the Geek squad programed and runs the entire set up (well worth the investment) the DVD's have amazing clarity and see many details on this tv that I didn't see on my old TV. Measurements are accurate.

I originally bought a 55 inch Samsung for my bedroom but after purchasing a 65 inch Sony for our family room, I felt that my 55 inch wasn’t big enough anymore so, I upgraded to this one. I love it. The color is great, the sound is loud enough for my bedroom without adding a sound bar like I have for our living room. I’m so pleased with this tv.

I bought this TV to upgrade the 55" I currently had. I have always been a loyal SONY customer and this tv is awesome. The picture quality is outstanding. It is easy to use and quick to set up. Overall, very happy with this purchase.

I have been wanting to get a 4k tv for the living room. I went in to get another tv and the Best Buy employee showed my wife and I this one. I think we made the better choice going with the Sony. I love the picture and I love the apps. It makes it so much easier to watch different streaming services without having to hook up my Xbox to the tv.

TV took less than 20 minutes to very carefully unpack and set up. Remote control was intuitive to use. Synced with Cable remote first try without any trouble. Everything looks great on this TV, even the old B&W, square-picture 1930's movies. Blue ray is fantastic. I haven;t even tried 4K content yet, but I am perfectly happy with this TV.

Since I already love the 55” SONY I purchased last year for our great room, I most definitely wanted to stick with this model (a year newer), yet move to the 65” for our bonus room. Incredible picture, speed, and the ease of use for every function, it truly is the perfect tv for our family. Bravo again, SONY.

Very good smart TV that is very easy to use. Did have to call customer service for a technical issue, got through quickly and an absolute 10 on walking me through issue I was having with set up . Awesome picture.

Excellent TV. I've sworn off buying only on price. I bought a Vizio last time, and while I know a lot of people are happy with them, I was disappointed in multiple ways, but that is a different review....main issue is it only lasted a couple of years. I only mention that, because it was a GREAT price for the size TV - but this time, I went with the Sony and couldn't be happier. I've had it for 2 months now and it's been a pleasure to use. Picture quality is significantly better than my last TV, and a lot of the features are great. The built in apps are super fast (able to use 5G wifi connection), picture is super bright and crystal clear. I do not have to pick what input I want, as soon as I hit the home button on my Roku, the TV must sense activity in the HDMI port and it automatically switches to the one my Roku is plugged into. Same with security cameras, Tablo, Wii, etc... I basically spent twice what I spent on the Vizio, and it's been worth every penny. Only time will tell if I get more than 2 years out of my new Sony - but just the features/picture quality make it worth the extra cost already.

Returned the X750F version and got this instead since it was on sale for the same price. Great picture quality, easy to set up and customize. Just be sure to use 4K HDMI cables otherwise you won't get the picture that you see in the store. Very well worth the extra money for quality cables and sound.

It was my first time purchasing my own TV so I did my research and had my expectations set. I looked at TV's that were suggested based on my preferences and was ready to make a decision. Until an associate showed me this one. I was blown away. I immediately purchased it. Easy set up.

Great picture! The HDR is pretty amazing. Old movies like Jaws and whatnot look completely different with this TV. Without being re-mastered or anything. Good remote and Google Assistant rocks. Cons: So my only complaints are interface related and not the TV picture or anything. 1. So its a smart TV... It has the Google play store on it, but only a few apps. The only way I could find a good web browser was to ask the Google Assistant and it found apps I could not. So from that aspect its just just odd. I wasted a lot of time, but in the end it was good. 2. Spectrum Live TV App will not work with Sony TV's... You can't install the app, but apparently there are some work arounds if you want. I didn't want to so I canceled my Spectrum streaming service. All in all its an awesome TV
