I have had this TV for 6 month's and have already had geek squad have to come out twice. The motherboard is apparently bad and needs to be replaced. A $1300 TV should not have this kind if issue this early on. Also I am severely disappointed in best buy and their warranty. This TV should be completely replaced as it's a lemon.

Being a skeptic, not always knowing if product reviews can, or should be believed, this is the first time I’ve even thought about writing a product review. But, my new XBR65X850F has changed my mind.
Over the past 65-years when I was given or purchased the first of many TVs (four of which were SONYs), I think I’ve seen them all in terms of brands and sizes; going from a 9” TV whose cabinet and table were as “big-as-a-house” all the way up to the sleek 65” SONY XBR65X850F that now hangs on a wall in my apartment. This set is replacing a SONY XBR55X900F that I purchased last year. While it was a great set, being legally-blind, I just wanted a set with a larger screen; looking back, I should have bought either one of SONY’s 65” models.
Doing a side-by-side comparison, of the XBR65X850F and the XBRX900F for the most part, the major specs of the sets were comparable. I purchased the XBR65X850F on a BB “President’s Day Sale” for $999, its regular price and SONY’s suggested retail price was and continues to be $1,299. The XBR65X900F wasn’t offered on sale, and was being sold for $1,699. So, for me, it wasn’t worth spending an additional $700 just to get a few more goodies I probably wouldn’t use anyway. For me, the XBR65X850F met my needs at a price point I just couldn’t pass up.
As for the XBR55X900F, I donated it to the retirement community where I live, and it was installed in a common area where it replaced a 42” set where residents gather to watch movies and play video games etc.
Thus far, the picture is great, vibrant and easy to see, coupled with my BOSE Solo-15 sound bar, I have a great video package for watching any type of cable provided programming.
The set was purchased online, but was delivered, and installed and setup through the BB store located in York, PA. I’d like to comment on the excellent installation by Mike and his partner. Prior to delivery, the maintenance staff where I live installed the wall bracket. After getting the set hung, while trying to make a clean and safe installation, Mike discovered the digital audio cable for my sound bar wasn’t going to be long enough. Mike went out to his van, where he had a longer cable that I could purchase. The longer cable completed the installation, and now, I’m a “happy-camper!”

So I got this TV 2 days ago. First off, yes it does lean back big time if you use the stands. Design flaw, I can't wall mount my TV in the location it is in. I solved this by placing a couple of the little circular super slider furniture movers under the rear of the stands. Made it sit level. You could also use felt pad too. This is not a huge issue for me, as I got it sitting right, and I don't mind the pieces under the rear of the legs, some others might, just FYI. On the function, seems to be great with the apps and stuff. Used Netflix once, loaded quickly. The Picture is high quality. Still playing with settings a bit. On TV shows and Movies seems great. Watched NFL yesterday and my Bears(WOO) last night. Pic was good for that. Motion seemed good. Picture was good. Game action was clear and no motion blur. I chose this over the Samsung and LG that were similarly priced in the "mid-range 4K" category. Mostly because those 2 had a center stand and this one had the legs on the side, which I prefer. Sony is a proven brand so I figured I couldn't go wrong. Sound quality is pretty good for standard speakers. I have a Bose soundbar that I supplement sound with sometimes anyway, but TV speakers are OK.

Cannot beat this tv for the money. Easy set up. I bought this and another brand at Christmas . This Sony is superior , it did cost alot more money though. Only complaint was i had to download a internet search engine. Had to call Sony to get it, otherwise a great experience with this tv.
