Im a very cautious buyer when it comes to major purchases. I researched all 65 inch plus HD TV’s online and in-store before buying. You can never be sure until it is hanging on your wall and you are viewing it. Let me tell you that I am very happy with my decision. The picture is beautiful with rich vivid colors. The picture jumps out at you when viewing shows in HD. The sound is great. I am viewing from 12-15 feet away and the Sony sound technology is second to none. Invest this TV and you will not be disappointed.

I was debating on getting the 2017 model, but that TV look like it was attached to an easel. Noticed this TV got good reviews and every time I wanted to buy it stores kept running out. Flash forward to yesterday I went to a Best Buy a lot further than me and it was the last one! I must say I am impressed with the picture and connectivity, I wish the sound was better, but I am planning on eventually getting the $1500 soundbar by Sony that will work perfect. I cannot figure out how to get my Amazon Echo Show to turn on and off my TV. I will update my post as I dive deeper into the product. This is my first OLED TV, but not my first 4K.

The picture quality is awesome. Even the frame has a dark gunmetal finish that looks quite elegant. The TV has a slim overall profile. We are very pleased with this television as well as Best Buy’s customer service.

I replaced a 65"LED TV with a new 65" Sony OLED and the difference is remarkable. The Sony remote control is much easier to use than my old one and the color difference is amazing. All the screen colors are more vibrant and much deeper than my old led TV. I also noticed the blacks to be more pronounced but images in those areas seemed to be more visible. Yes, the Sony OLED costs a more than the other brands but it's worth it. Too often you hear of improvements that it turns out can only be measured in a laboratory but the advancements in this TV can be seen, heard and appreciated!

I love everything about this TV. Its bright and clear. Even the sound is loud enough without a soundbar. The speakers are actually behind the flat panel but the sound comes right through the screen.

This OLED TV, Sony Bravia, gives an amazing picture with detail never seen on a TV before. Great color, true blacks. And we haven't even had it calibrated yet, just with the factory settings. Love it!

I LOVE the sharpness of the picture and the color is fantastic. I also love that the size of the 65" is basically the same as the the 55" but that the screen and picture size is much larger....

This was my first OLED TV and I was skeptical at first because of the price but it is worth every single penny! The delivery was quick and easy, and the setup of the tv took me no longer than 15 minutes! The operating system on this tv is amazing as it runs really smoothly and as a bonus it even has google assistant built into the tv! The colors are amazing and the blacks are deep as can be! My favorite thing about this tv is the stand, its so thin and beautiful!

We have a entertainment unit with limited vertical space for a tv, so we wanted to find an excellent tv with a minimalistic base. This TV fit the bill! The base sits practically flush on the bottom of the frame. The TV itself is exceptional.
The contrast from the OLED coupled with the crispness of the video makes movie theater screens look murky and less attractive. The screen doubles as a speaker. I do find that I have to increase the volume from time to time depending what I'm watching.
The android OS however was initially a pain point. It would freeze and lock up occasionally. But after the Oreo update. I couldn't be happier.

I love the picture quality of this set. Color settings are quite customizable. The speaker system is pretty decent considering it's a very thin TV. Apparently there's a subwoofer in the back of the TV. Remote is ehhhh... Ok i guess. Android TV running Oreo is kind slow. I use my Roku which is a lot smoother and less hiccups.

Sony's superior processor is evident in a crisper picture and deeper blacks compared to LG and Samsung QLED. LG and Samsung are brighter however, important in a room with a lot of light.

I really wanted to like this high end Sony OLED but there is one serious fatal flaw. Earlier this year, Sony introduced a firmware update that murdered brightness in certain scenes. The scenes that are affected the most are the ones with a brighter background and a static logo on the screen. Sports and especially hockey suffer the most. They did this to combat burn in, but in the process destroyed picture quality with certain content. It resets back to normal after panning out the scene, but this up and down fluctuation is giving me headaches. I measured 65 nits during hockey after a minute of action. That’s less than half the brightness of when you first turn on the game. So imagine your remote control automatically turns the brightness from 100 to 30 up and down throughout the entire game. That’s exactly the effect you will be getting while watching sports. I bought this tv because of the stellar reputation of Sony’s motion, important for sports. But sports are unwatchable on this set. I returned for an LG C8 and couldn’t be happier. It blows this set away and the ABL (automatic brightness limiter) is barely noticeable on it. I get almost identical picture quality, motion and upscaling and a much much steadier brighter screen. Sony really dropped the ball on this stop gap tv that’s buying them time until they release the a9f which will have a much better processor (X1 ultimate chip). So if you are a Sony fan, I suggest you wait. If you need a tv now, the lg c8 is a way better alternative to this dim set.

Bought this TV to replace a very outdated 32" HD picture tube television after plenty of reviews and recommendations. It does not disappoint at all. The picture is great coming from the Directv box and just plain stunning from plain old BluRays. We haven't even tried an actual 4k source yet other than a couple YouTube videos that look absolutely magnificent. It's taking some time to get used to the menus. We did use the tv's acoustic glass speaker as a trial and they do sound pretty good for tv speakers but we also bought a new surround system and speakers so are using those for the sound.

The best option between Samsung QLED and LG OLED. I used to work in this department and let me tell you that this TV is literally a computer. None of the other options can beat its processor in terms of speed, display quality, and consistency. The display keeps its contents' natural colors while still keeping detail without oversaturating the whole image, unlike Samsung. In this category, preference can play a huge part though.

The picture quality is awesome and the functionality of the voice command and various apps is remarkable. I would recommend that anyone purchasing any model of the Sony 4K OLED TV upgrade their internet speed to 1G in order to best enjoy Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube and the like. For sizes 65"+ I would recommend at least a 12' HDMI cable, a longer remote control sensor and a longer power cord depending on how it is mounted. This is only important for a wall or fireplace mount when the cable box isn't directly adjacent to the TV. This was a "no regrets" purchase and Best Buy made it all so very easy!

Almost like looking through a window. Viewed Bladerunner in 4k and the color and sharpness were outstanding. Not much range on brightness. Factory default is max. Interface with streaming apps very basic. Clean design. If you are looking for best picture available this is the one to buy.
