With the latest Sony Z9F firmware update (v6.3626), this TV will be very hard to beat! Stunning picture realism, colors that are not over-saturated (i.e. Samsung Q90R) and faithful to the movie creator's intent, no risk for burn-ins, excellent in both bright and dark rooms, all backed up by Sony's legendary reliability! On top of all that, this $3,499.00 Sony Master's Series TV is now being sold for $1,799.99 at Best Buy!

Had the tv for about a month and am really happy with it. Is in a room with a fair number of windows, but is bright enough that colors still look good. Black levels are really good and there is very little to no blooming, although there is always a bit of ambient light in the room. Have read reviews about grey letterbox bars and light bleeding into the bars, but have not experienced that effect. Overall am really happy with the tv and is well worth the current price.

This tv really is one of the best you can own. It’s one of the brightest available, near perfect color accuracy out of the box. X1 ultimate processing is top notch. Blacks are not oled perfect but in a room with any kind of light you won’t notice. Only major drawback is Dolby vision won’t come through over all brands of 4k blu Ray players. If you can live with hdr10 or $500+ Sony blu Ray player for Dolby vision it’s perfect. Dolby vision runs great with on tv apps and 4k Apple TV.

Upgraded from Pioneer plasma. was apprehensive but the picture is stunning. So vibrant. Almost looks 3D. Easy set up. Really appreciate the e arc. I can output Dolby Atmos and DTS X audio to my home theater system easily. Only tv manufacture to offer this perk. All hdmi inputs capable of of full spectrum inputs. I’ve read about some blooming, but I don’t see it. Great tv.

After owning the 65inch Z9D, 75inch 900F, I can say this Z9F has an excellent high peak brightness picture with great blacks. The black bars are dark. Forget what some of the haters say, this TV is the best LED on the market at a 1,500-1,799 cost. I’m very picky on TV’s and this hands down amazing!!!

I purchased this TV after we moved into a new house. It was just installed over the fireplace and I am very pleased with the picture quality. It has all the features I wanted and easy to use. I also thought it was an excellent value for the price.

I replaced my 5 year old Sony under warranty with this model. The picture is sharper and the colors a bit brighter. The biggest improvement is off axis viewing. The colors are less washed out at an angle. The one criticism relates to the directions. They are AWFUL. Most features are not discussed leaving you to search the internet.

You get a master series, but the Z9F is an amazing panel. The contrast ratio can be adjusted correctly in the settings but overall the panel is one of Sony's best. Probably not as good as the Z9D but can compensate by
-X1 Ultimate Chip (FAST and great Picture/Color)
-EARC output (For Lossless Audio if you are running a Home Theatre)
-X Wide Angle (Viewing angles are very good anywhere you sit)
-Netflix Calibrated Mode
This TV for the price is just as good as the 2019 models (Beside OLED but that is a whole different TV and even some 2020 models since there are not much of an upgrade)

The picture is outstanding, I replaced a 52 inch LED Sony with this 4k HDR and it does not disappoint, very real life like images. The clarity is spot on. can't wait to get it calibrated professionally from the Geek Squad to further enhance my viewing pleasure.

The picture is stunning, it's all about the sony processor, it takes whatever you throw at it and converts it to a great picture. HD content looks like 4K. It's a great hybrid between OLED and LED, great blacks and contrast and viewing angles without any issue of burn-in.

In a market where consumers usually buy what’s popular, Samsung or Vizio for example, Sony delivers a product that is extraordinary in terms of picture quality performance and a game changer when it comes to detail. Something worth mentioning for most who are still learning about how to get the most out of 4K content, with a high picture quality performing TV like this one, Amazon Prime currently delivers the best quality in picture whether the content is UHD or standard HD. Netflix second, and Hulu fell short.

We've now owned this display for ~16 months and couldn't be happier.
I tend to stick with Sony displays and I've used them near exclusively since the 80's when I started with a 19" Trinitron.
It was a MASSIVE upgrade over our old 2013 Sony 60" LED display in every way and even now watching some streaming or 4k BluRays we are absolutely blown away with the picture quality.
A pretty substantial Sony update added a display off option (thank you!), a modern new interface and much more functionality which just took it to a new level.
I literally have no complaints about this display which is rare.

Very good TV....however out of the box picture wasn't very good had to call Sony Tech Support to Calibrate picture. Only after which pic was very good with the wow factor. Buyer Beware ...you will not get 4k resolution via cable TV provider. Meaning regular TV isn't pushing out 4k content. Maybe live sporting events etc
. You must go to the apps like Netflix, Ruko and fire stick for that content. Another way to view would be a 4k BlueRay player an or Utube 4k movies (limited movies). In the Best Buy show room the 4k TV's were playing looped videos not TV or a cable channel. So I thought that's how the pic would be all the time.. My bad....Bottom line - The Z9F is a great TV for 4k content viewing hands down. If you can snag one at a good price pull the trigger

My Sony 65" Class-LED-Z9F Master Series-2160-Smart-4K HDR Ultra HD is just great! I purchased 5/29/2020 and they delivered on Thursday, June 4, 2020. I could hardly wait for the for deliverymen to get out of the box, plug it in and set up. I was anxiously awaiting it coming on to see the picture. What I saw was sharp, clear picture and the colors were gorgeous. I know had picked the right one!

So I own the 900a, 900b, 930c, 930e, and now the z9f. You will read reviews indicating this is not a legitimate successor to the z9d; in some ways its not meant to be. The technology in the TV's is different, fundamentally different. The z9d was a 3d tv (which I LOVED) and Sony has moved on from that kit all together in the new tv lines. This TV instead recognized the viewing angles were an issue and man did they improve.the glare filters diminish the black levels a bit but bias lighting will take care of that. This is the best LCD tv on the market today.

5 star service from the sales assistant to the Geek Squad installing. Not quiet a month since purchased but, overall very pleased with the upgrade!!! No issues or concerns with color/picture/sound. Still learning how to operate as this is our families first smart TV purchase. Only thing we feel would have been more helpful would have been more time with the Geek Squad for an overall tutorial but we are getting the hang of it!!! Sony is a little more pricey but thankfully we caught a sale. Would recommend keeping a eye out on their sales!!!
