Good sound bar very great deep low bass just wised it had rear speakers

I researched and listened to several soundboard and by far this is the best one you can buy

I am very satisfied with my Sony soundbar. It sounds great and compliments my Sony 4K TV.

The sound quality from Sony products is the best..

Great sound, but the movies/video must be dobly Atmos in order to get the most of it.

Decided to finally transition to a virtual surround sound bar from my existing 5.1 multi-speaker surround sound setup. I've had many Sony audio products over the years and have never been disappointed in the quality or clarity, this product is no different. Super easy to set up and configure and the sound is great. A little on the pricey side but for me personally, it was worth it to get rid of wires and speakers while maintaining the surround sound capability. Several friends have commented how it still sounds like the sound is coming from around you when there are no rear speaker units. Chromecast feature works well when I want to listen to music from my phone etc.

Fairly easy to set up, sound quality is good, separation is good. Have not tried other advance features like iPhone connectivity.

Expensive but excellent sound for a speaker bar. This is the closest i have heard to getting surround sound from a speaker bar. I just purchased me 2nd one so now have one in living room and MBR. Newer bar has eArc. Only drawback is that you cant tune individual speakers, you can only pick preset sound options like cinema, gaming, or several other options. Home screen is kind of clunky and could use a more user friendly update. I avoid the Sony home screen by using my TV as the hub instead of the speaker bar. That reduces sound quality but by routing cables through TV it is more user friendly. You buy this speaker bar for the sound quarlity, not user interface.

After purchasing a Sony 75" 4K TV I decided to "maximize" my sound experience to compliment my visual experience. I have not been disappointed in the performance of the sound bar. I would highly recommend it to all.

Love the sound quality, it's absolutely pure. The bass is just perfect for my living room. Love that this home theater gets regular software updates to enhance user experience.

This Sony sound bar is a perfect match for my X850H 75" TV. The sound bar is slightly less wide than the TV, and the ergonomics work out well for my particular viewing position. The sound quality for voice/videos is outstanding, significantly better than the built-in speakers on the TV. The 3D spatial positioning (Dolby ATMOS) is not convincing without real rear-channel surround, but it's better than a flat 2D sound field. Definitely recommend this if you can't accommodate a traditional 7.1 surround package due to room size/shape, etc.

The sound is awesome and the base is so deep that the house shakes. Was a snap to setup and works extremely well with my Sony 4k TV. The best sound-bar I've heard. I'm so happy that I spent the extra bucks and went with the 7.1.2!

This Sony was a significant upgrade from our last sound-bar system. It was relatively easy to set up. The ATMOS feature has tuned the sound to our room in a way that the last system couldn't.

This thing is a monster. The subwoofer is so powerful and has such good range across low frequencies I barely turned it halfway up. Voices are crystal clear and the soundbar has enough power to fill a large room with sound. HDR pass through works great, it looks great, but... The inability for rear speaker support is not only unacceptable, it made this soundbar an item I refused to keep. Don't get me wrong. For most people, this will be more than enough. But in no way is this soundbar a 7.2 system. It's not even 5.2. You get some decent height from the Atmos speakers, but never once did I hear anything sounds behind me as advertised, even with proper calibration. Everyone is bombarding sony with requests for rear speaker support, but it's falling on deaf ears and blind eyes. Maybe it's that Sony is planning an upgraded system in the near future or maybe they just don't care. But if rear atmos speakers were available this soundbar might be the first and last sound system I owned. Unfortunately I'm not willing to compromise and returned the item. Give us what we want and quite frankly need, Sony.

Great piece of sound. I have this in my living room and it feels like my own little home theatre. Deep bass and clear sound. Great for music and movies. Very happy with my Sony sound bar.

Amazing sound! This soundbar will definitely enhance any action movie. With Dolby Atmos, music and dialog are much better with the front-firing speakers.

The SOUND of this this is amazing! I love blasting music and this one has no loss of quality since it has hi-Rez audio. The subwoofer sounds twice as good and is literally what had me sold

Sound and bass are great. It’s a bit bulky out of the box. It’s quite high height wise.
