Great product. I bought this receiver to handle my outside music so that I could use Bluetooth on my deck and patio which is further away. The rang of the signal is great. The only draw back is there are very limited instructions that come with the receiver, so you're kind of on your own. Tech support not much help!

I love the setup feature of this receiver. The fact that it includes a microphone and does all the hard work for is a big plus. All that is required is to follow simple on screen commands and wait for the software to perform its magic. As for the sound it will not disappoint.

This is a great receiver with enough power to rumble a room and also has bluetooth and Airplay. It can be updated thru the net, music sounds crispier now.

I upgraded from a previous Sony receiver because I purchased a 4K television and wanted a 4K receiver to go with it. This receiver is great and delivers great sound. I love the features of this receiver. For the price, it is the best receiver out there!

Decided to update my old Marantz receiver and came across this one. Price was right and had all the options I needed. Setup was easy, the interface is way advanced over the Marantz one, excellent video and sound quality. Have no issues with it.

Bought an 800$ pioneer receiver 5 years ago and it crapped out. Spent just over half that on this receiver. Hopefully it lasts longer than 5 years. So far the receiver is working well and the sound is just as good as the more expensive ones.

The receiver has great graphic U/I menus and is easy to setup. I didn't notice much difference in some of the sound fields. The receiver has plenty of inputs, but could use one more HDMI. Overall, great value for the money.

easy to set up this unit and easy to add componits to this unit.. the surround sound is clean and has plenty of power...

I bought this unit to replace a 12 year old pioneer receiver. I was impressed with its small size and functionality. Solid sound and good video quality. The only thing I didn't care for was the cheap feeling binding posts. Although I use banana clips to make my connections, the overall light feel of the posts felt cheap and of low quality. But seeing as this is an entry level unit, compromises in design were likely made to keep the unit affordable. Overall a solid purchase for the budget minded.

This unit has been great for my setup. I'm using Energy Take Classic speakers. Receiver has lots of neat features and the bluetooth/airplay works well.

I bought this product to replace my Bose Receiver & Sud which had went out, I didn't want to spend 2 grand on a new Bose so this replace it just fine, my Bose cube speakers work great with this compilation.

I have 5.1 paradym speaker hook up and the sound is unbelievable. Great sound for someone that doesn't want to spend a grand or more on receiver.

This was the easiest setup of a receiver that I have ever owned. It has plenty of HDMI ports and has great sound quality. I runs cooler than most receivers and has performed flawlessly.

This was a replacement for a sony receiver that served it's time very well! I was amazed how you are able to edit, Volume,distance, size, and EQ. The EQ makes a big difference in how you can shape the sound. Very nice unit for the money. Easy to setup, just read the easy instructions and you are on your way to Home Concert Sound with 4K capability. Did I mention the clean power? The lows shake your cheeks on a couch or chair!

I needed to upgrade my receiver to go with my new 4K Sony TV. I researched many and this met my needs and in my price range.

Does a the job and the automatic sound calibration is pretty cool. We enjoy the ability to sync our phones to the receiver

After many years of mixing and matching components in my Theater system, I finally decided to add the Sony Receiver to my system instead of the Onkyo I had been using. I've been very happy with my Sony 4K TV and other Sony components, but the receiver is not capable of supporting my Mirage speakers and clips into it's protection circuit at the least provocation. The old saying used to be, don't put a 4 cylinder in a Caddy and expect it to perform like a V-8.

The unit was very easy to install, just moved wiring from old Yamaha to this Sony. Plugged in the microphone to balance the sound across the five speakers and subwoofer and that was all it took. I can even turn on the system (blu-Ray, tv and receiver) using the bluray remote and off with the tv remote. The sound is the best it has ever been, better than the Yamaha unit we had.

Ok we purchased this because the one hdmi comunicates with the tv and my old 5.1 denon has tons of inputs and outputs but no hdmi. So we went with the 7.2 Sony. I know it sounds very good with the tv and bluray hooked up to it and paired to a set of Polk surround speakers. I think my denon over all was a better amp and is 4 times heavier but no hdmi connection.

I reviewed many products and this one had all the qualities I wanted. After getting it home and hooking it up, I was not disappointed!
