We moved into a new home that already had surround sound and this has been the best investment. It can be linked to your iPhone and play music - so many bells and whistles - we love it!

I bought this receiver to replace an old 5.1 theater in a box system I had. This receiver handles TV, movies and gaming well, but music sounds especially great. Now I just need to upgrade my speakers to complete things.

This is my 4th receiver (moved several times) and by far the best I've ever had. Super easy to use with so many features. I have indoor and outdoor speakers and this allows me to easily use them separately or together.

I purchased for new features. I have all connections to the stero and the ARC feature to send audio from tv to Stereo. This works well now because this stereo can send hdmi to TV even when it's turned off.

Great unit. Replaced a Pioneer that had issues. Great sound and control. I am getting better base out of this unit than I did with the Pioneer. Only issue is that you need a tv in order to work some of the functions. Much better than I expected. Highly recommend.

Following an electrical issue and my 1050 deciding to no longer turn on, and taking it in to Geek Squad with the Protection Plan I had purchased, my old unit was replaced with this one. It has all the same features, and all around is a perfect receiver for my needs, offering great sound, a fantastic user interface(especially when compared to almost every other Receiver). In the past I've used both Denon and Pioneer units(each around $1000), and I much prefer the Sony offerings based on the bang for the buck. Highly Recommend.

This receiver is one of many that I have purchased and it completely exceeds my high expectations, it completely complements my new 4K TV, and I am extremely pleased.

Receiver is only in service for a couple of months and no issues. I replaced a 5 year old Yamaha and I would say the Sony has a little better sound quality.

Using this Sony 7.2 surround sound with average hard wired in ceiling speakers and still sounds amazing

we love the sound and all the features it has, the way you can Bluetooth to you phone and get your own music is great! we hooked it to our bose speakers we already had. LOVE IT !!

This Denon receiver replaces a 6 year old Denon receiver. I attempted to replace it wth a Sony receiver and returned it for another Denon. Very easy to set and very user friendly.

My 2 year old Onkyo receivers audio out was failing and needed an immediate replacement. It is great,powerful, and clear. The only bad so far is I cannot find a remote app like I had on the Onkyo.

I have enjoyed this system thus far. I had a little bit of trouble getting it to talk to my other Sony products but the sound quality is good and the dual zone feature is nice as well

Seeing that my TV, DVD, etc is all Sony, I chose this amp and I am very please that I did. Through the years I had always had Onkyo's and they work great, but I seem to always have any issue down the road. I have a Bose theater system and this amp really pumps sound out. So easy to change from TV to Sat to DVD, etc. Has enough HDMI slots and also optical. Everything I need and extra to expand.

At last we are enjoying true surround sound. We replaced our old Onyko unit with this Sony model and it's been great.

This is a god reciever. I do have one complaint. In order to set this up to see all the features it must be connected to the tv.

This was a replacement purchase for my home entertainment center. I love this receiver. The set up was very straightforward, and I love some of the features like the Bluetooth, and Airplay. With the ability to add additional zones, I'm now thinking about where I can run another set of speakers to take advantage of the power of this receiver. I'm very happy with this purchase.

easy to hook up, receiver works well with other devices Sony help line is not very good, hard to understand the customer service people, they are not very knowledgeable

Very easy to use and setup, Bravia sync works great with all my Sony products, would highly recommend it
