is it possible that this actually made my speakers sound better? because it certainly seems that way. seamless interface, easy learning experience and a whole new world of listening has opened up. glad i made the investment.

Great radio. I tried many brands in the past and Sony is known for things that are good quality and that will last long so really happy with it over all. Easy to use and install was not hard.

I got this as a surprise for my wife. This is her first touch screen radio. She enjoys being able to use the Apple CarPlay feature and navigate the screens with ease. The screen size is definitely a plus also.

Simple to set up and listening to in no time. Sounds good. Works for me.

Got this installed on my Volkswagen Golf and it feels nice. CarPlay is automated as soon as you plug in. Works great with the navigation apps, rear camera. The only thing I would bring up is the interference on calls. Not on my end but on the person calling. They seem to describe it as rain, wind and that I sound far away. Doesn’t really bother me since I don’t use that much. But if you do make phone calls then that would be an issue.

It works very good, exactly like when you buy a new car with apple car play. Also they did a great job with installation which is one of main reason it works perfectly.

This thing is awesome. Boot time is really fast Apple car play works like a dream Touchscreen looks good and isnt sluggish Music sounds way better than with stock radio

Deck sounds great and the android auto is a big improvement for me.

Purchased as a replacement in my Nissan Xterra. The CarPlay and 7” screen are great features.

Excellent Deco , esp when purchased at the sale price ! Quick response touch screen , Apple integration good sound quality and lots of power for a deck alone!

Used this as a nice upgrade in my 2002 Toyota 4runner to get me into the modern world. Based on my research this one had all the features I needed at the best price point. I added the XM Radio transmitter add on part so be sure not to miss that part kit before you go for the free installation. You do not want to do this twice. Apple Play integration and XM radio work great. Radio reception not so good but I do not use that. Don't really want to listen to people talk all day along with a bunch of commercials every 10 minutes. More about the pure endless music for me.

The install was very easy, and it leaves a lot of room behind the screen for extra stuff like Sirius XM, since it doesn't play discs and doesn't need the extra room for that. The screen is pressure sensitive, and needs periodic calibration. I believe that it should be a capacitive touch screen since the technology is available and it doesn't need the extra calibration.

Nice radio with apple car play! Definitely got a lot of radio for the price. I Love using the back up camera. Had to buy the camera separate.

Sounds clean, the only issue I have is that when I get back in the car it takes a while to reconnect like I have to sit there and push the Bluetooth button again and again for it to register on the phone. I also felt that it should have had GPS, for the price it's really not an eye opener. When the sun's out strong there is still a glare on my screen. Installation went horribly wrong that's another story.

As I have an Android Auto compatible entertainment system in my Hyundai, I wanted one for my older Infiniti G35. After having the system painstakingly installed at Best Buy, we plugged in my phone and Android Auto only worked once! That's right, just one time! Android Auto with the phone works fine on my hyundai. Yes, bluetooth phone works and the radio sounds good, and the mp3 files on my flash drive sound great. But I bought it specific for its Android Auto compatibility. I have written Sony's electronic headquarters about it and have not received any response. I was hoping to at least get an answer as to whether it just might need a software update, but no response from Sony. If someone on this forum had the same issue and somehow fixed it, please comment, so I can see how you did it.

Great radio and sound. Upgraded from stock in Ford F-150. Went from 1 din cd radio to touch screen 2 din. Pared with IPhone easily

Installed into a 2000 GMC Sonoma works good, only problem I have is figuring out how to use the Android play. plug my phone in followed the instructions on radio and my phone works but when I plug my phone it goes directly to the google maps. Has great sound. does not have the separate treble,bass, mids settings. has presets eq and manual and lots more. purchase this because it is a double din but only takes single din space didn't have to cut the dash up behind the radio easy fit. wish could put my own wallpapers.

Put this in my girlfriends Grand Cherokee and will be putting one in my Wrangler. Touch screen is great and so is the Apple Car features.

I like the stereo but the Android Auto and bluetooth features are lacking. Anytime I make or receive a call I have to manually restart my music I am streaming. Also Android Auto freezes up and I have to unplug then replug it in to get it to work. Overall the sound quality and other features are pretty good.
