This is fairly easy to program did what it's supposed to . decent sized buttons only drawback not lighted

The remote was easy to program, since my codes were listed in the manual. It did put my LG TV in to service mode once when i pressed the sleep button and I had to order anther remote, but in its defense I hadn't check all the functions after programing and didn't realize I'd programed it to the wrong code. Reprogrammed the remote and haven't had an issue since.

I love that no programming is necessary. Worked right away. Has all the same features as the original remote at a reasonable price.

I bought this remote because I no longer had my original home theater remote to control my surround sound. It set fine to the tv and at&t uverse however I had to set both the amp and dvd to fully control the home theater. It takes seconds to push the button between the DVD and amp so it's not a big deal. It was great paying under $30 for something that controls everything and won't cost me a new home theater to get the full surround sound effect through the optical out put.

I've been a Comcast customer for MANY years but switched to DirecTV this weekend. The Comcast remote that I had worked great with most of my devices but the one I received with DirecTV wasn't a "universal". I went out and grabbed this Sony remote from Best Buy and it works great with all my devices... BluRay player, DirecTV receiver (Genie HR44), and TV. The only thing it doesn't work too well with? My Sony audio receiver! It'll turn it on, control the volume, and I can switch the inputs (most) but it doesn't handle anything else. I'd love to be able to access certain features with the audio but no can do. Go figure. It's a bit long which makes it a little cumbersome when you're holding it and trying to control things with one hand in the dark but it's not a BAD remote. For a few bucks less, though, you could probably find something that works just as good. However, I'm going to keep it... I like the way the buttons feel!

Purchased remote to control receiver and DVD player after upgrading to Xfinity X1 (X1 remote does not control devices other than the X1 and TV). The remote easily paired with my DVD, receiver & TV and it's easy to use. I can't complain for $19.99.

Great remote for a low, resonable price. It works for my tv, bluray dvd player, and cable box. It even works for my on demand options. It would have 5 stars if the buttons lit up. Still highly recommend it.

We purchased this remote to consolidate our many remotes as well as have some room for growth. We were hoping to find a remote that would also have a "disk change" option for our 5 disk DVD changer but that was something we could not find (First world problem?). Anyway, the remote was very simple to set up, and since most of our devices were Sony brand, they were already preset.

I have a Sony 3D, Blu ray player which the dog confused with a Milk Bone. I purchased the generic universal remotes but none worked. I finally got this model and it worked flawlessly from the get go and even works on my Panasonic plasma TV. Niiiicccceeee! Now only one remote instead of 3!

My late wife & I had bought a BluRay/DVD player and somehow the remote control unit for the player may have been tossed inadvertently with the box the player came in. I had searched my apartment for the two years since my wife's passing for the original remote control unit to no avail. I now am able to control the BlueRay/DVD unit connected to my main TV set.

This is a great easy to program remote. The only complaint I have is that I am having trouble programming my Samsung soundbar. Not sure whether it is under home theater systems or other audio in the codes list. No problems with all other devices.

We have three remotes and one of them doesn't work half the time, so I decided to get a new one. I was shocked by the price tags on some of the all in one remotes. SHOCKED. I found this one at a very reasonable price and decided to give it a try. I have a Panasonic TV and a Sony DVD/BluRay/speaker system and a Wii. We don't have cable or satellite. I was very easy to set up and works great except for the extra buttons that normally control Netflix on one of the other remotes. It won't pull up the Options menu and the "return" doesn't work. There maybe something else we need to do to get it to work better with Netflix and will look into it. Considering it cost less than $30 and some of the remotes are $300, I can't complain very much. It seems like good quality and the buttons are solid and easy to find and use.

I bought this to replace a remote for my sony home theatre system. Works great on it. Also now partially use it to control my Panasonic VT50 series (not all functions of the tv are supported, it doesn't allow me to change picture settings).

Worked just fine with all Sony products however when asked to press the "home" button, I was a little bit confused since none of the buttons have "home" written on it.
