No need for a bunch of remotes when you have this one. It’s easy to setup and easy to use. It controls TV, cable box, DVD player, and amp just fine.

I purchased this for my bedroom set up. I didn't need anything fancy as I only have the TV, Surround Sound, Cable Box, and DVD. This was perfect and very affordable.

We bought a slightly used TV without the remote for which this remote worked out just fine.

Long over due purchase- works great with the electronics attached to our TV and now can put away all the different remotes and watch recorded items- Easy to set up!!

I bought this remote when my factory tv remote quit working. I have no complaints; this is a great remote. Setup was easy and I haven't had any problems with it.

My remote for my dvd/vhs player died so I picked this up thinking that was all it would replace. I was able to set up my dvd/vhs player, tv and comcast cable box on this one remote within minutes. Haven't figured out how to view OnDemand so I have to use Comcast remote for that but if given enough time, I think I'll figure that out too. Great value and simplified my remotes. Much easier than the Harmony Remote I had.

Purchased Sony brand because it was a replacement for a Sony component. easy to program

I usually have to replace remotes about every 10 - 12 months because random buttons just stop working. I refuse to drop $80 on a high end model if it isn't going to be working in a few months. So I just buy $20 remotes and they are often hit or miss. This is definitely a hit, in fact, it's probably the best one I have ever had. With every other Universal remote I have owned, there is always a device or two that it just doesn't sync with correctly. For example, my last remote didn't work to well with my DVR or Blu Ray Player. When I would pause the blu-ray player the remote would not unpause it. I would have to get up and unpause from the actual player. But this remote does everything perfectly. I am thinking about buying another one as a spare to have when the one wears out. I have only had it for about 2 months so durability might still be an issue. But it does feel pretty solid.

We bought a universal remote several years ago. We were so impressed with this that we bought the same for a replacement when the first one died.

Works well with TV and Sony DVD players but does not work with receivers as of actually functioning the menus etc. turns receiver volume up and down, powers the unit on and off and really that's about it I would recommend this remote depending on its use

This is the second one of these remotes I've purchased. I got my mother-in-law one, and after falling in love with it, got one for myself too.

Good product that is easy to use. The only problem is that one can not add devices to the remote on the internet like one can with a harmony remote.

Its very hefty and it works great. It rakes a while to set up but for a replacement this is the best you can get. BELIEVE me

This remote was easy to set and and works all 4 devices I was hoping it to work. By works I mean even pulls up all menus and guides through all features of the devices. In many case I have universal remotes but I still have a remote of two hanging around for the more complex request but this remote has allowed me to put all the others away and truly rely on one remote.
