Great picture out of the box. Easy set up. Once I had the tv ISF calibrated the picture came alive and is unbelievable!

When i first saw this tv i was in love with picture and then i saw the price and determined its was a good value. I had other options to choose from from 4k to projectors. With good advice from valley stream best buy supervisors and sony rep i stuck with original decision and purchased this. I could not open it until area was completed with repairs. So 2 weeks after delivery i open this monster up and had it installed on the wall.. After installation was completed i turned it on to find a unremoval stuck pixel.. i am annoyed by this as this tv cost so much. I Spoke to bb managers whom are willing to exchange with no fuss. Great customer service at bb. Now i tried stream movie. Tv seems to be confused..loading forever netflix wouldnot work. Youtube work. So i did updated things worked a lil better. Still some issues with streaming . My living is 20x20 10ft high ceilings sound is adequate bluray pictures are phenomenal. . I observed some clouding effect in dark scenes.. have to figure how to set up picture. Overall once those issues are resolved.. the stuck pixel... the clouding ... (looks like white clod in dark scenes messing up picture of movie) this tv will be great. Hopefully i can do another review with higher rating. Thanks for reading

I was lucky enough to catch on sale $500 off retail, so I paid under 2K and it was worth it. It replaces my projector so it takes up space where the wall screen was. Free delivery was included and two professionals carried it to my basement and set it up table top. Instead of fishing HDMI cable through the wall from the theater system across the room, I used an HDMI transmitter/receiver by Nyrus which works great, and includes a 3-device IR blaster so I can point all my remote controls in front of me even though the devices are not. The Smart TV functions respond quickly and the built-in wi-fi gets great connectivity to my router, but its on the same level. Amazon, Netflix and a lot of other Premium streaming apps are included if you have accounts. I have Netflix. If I use the TV App, I have to use the TV speakers, but the sound is really good. I prefer to use my theater system app so that I get the full effect of 7.1 I have set up. Because of the weight, the stand has a pretty large footprint, about 13" front to back so the screen front is actually about 8" away from the wall. I didn't want to mount it so that''s as close as I can get it. I like the responsiveness of the remote control.

Impressive tv! 75" is about as good as it gets without having to spend enough money to buy a small car! Clarity is great Motion is managed well with built technology Color is amazing! The home dashboard is packed full of apps and useability :) The 3D experience is quite impressive! My only complaint is the tv CAN NOT convert 2D content to 3D content. If I had known this before I bought the tv, I probably would not have made the purchase. Only 4 out of 5 stars due to this lack of capability.

It was a toss between this and the Samsung J6300. They were both on sale but the Samsung had better reviews. The Samsung had better picture quality in store. However, it wasn't an AndroidTV. When Samsung pulled out their sale on that TV, it gave me more reasons to go with this TV. Also, I was leaning towards the Android TV because it's almost future proofing myself. At 15 feet from my couch, 4K will not make sense (EVERYONE, read up on 4K and how it will fit you before you pull the trigger-- you have to be at a considerable distance with a relevant size for you to appreciate it. Be smart about your purchase). When it was finally installed, I was happy with it. It does not have the same quality as my Panny plasma that it replaced but TVs nowadays have pretty good picture quality. So the quality is still good, just make sure you know how to tweak video settings based on what you watch. My only issue is (and I'm sure it's the same with any other LED/LCD tv) is the video settings. To switch between 24P and 30P and managing through the clearmotion effects requires a lot of button presses. For example, you're watching sports, then switch to a movie-- if you do not switch settings, you may get soap opera effect, etc. Again, it is not the TV, you will get this from any other LCD / LED, the concern is switching modes. I wish there is a firmware update that will make picture settings a button press. Other than that, this.set is a pretty good catch.

I love the picture...the volume is a little weak for it's size and I'd recommend getting a sound bar to pair with it, I love the size and the apps on it. The glitches I speak of is.....I've had to reset the TV wayyy to many times...meaning I unplug it for about a minute and then plug it back in. I've had to do this at times because at times when I turn it on the regular over the air TV portion won't come in. I get nothing. Everything else will come in...shows through apps and the dvd, but not the TV tuner. Sometimes when I try to play videos from my computer on it they won't go through either. It just "loads" and then says it can't play the video. I reset it and it solves both these problems. It's not an every day thing....but it's enough to make me pause and think about paying this much for a Sony again. I've been a sony fan all my life up till now. I'm lazy and haven't reached out to best buy and had them come check it out yet...I got a feeling that's not going to go to well because it's so intermittent they will probably never be here when it is acting up and needs to be reset and I'm probably not going to be satisfied with the outcome. I'm dreading all the hassle and runarounds I know are coming. Other than having to reset it...I'd give it 5 stars in a heart beat. Everything else is to my liking. I will click "yes, I'd recommend this to a friend" but with a disclaimer about the glitches I don't like.

I am loving this new TV. Deep blacks, clear picture. Smooth motion. 3D is way better than my previous Samsung TV. Android TV is a wonderful Smart tv OS as well.

I was considering the 4k Sony and Samsung TVs, but saw this in the store. We sit about 12-15 feet from the screen, and from that distance the quality seems as good as the 4k screens we considered. The blacks are the best I have had on any TV. The sound is not fantastic, but paired with a SONOS playbar and 2 Play:1 surround speakers it is great. The Android TV lacks app support, but I guess that will change in time. For now we still use our Amazon Fire TV as the primary Smart TV device.

I was torn between 1080p and 4K but after doing my homework I went ahead with this Sony 75 Inch. Best tv I've owned, beautiful picture, awesome features. T.V is not 4K but sure cant tell. Im gald to see sony is bringing good products back!

Great color, definition, true blacks, not splotchy blacks, and good action track on any sports. Only negative...sound is typical of a TV but put in a Sonos soundbar and subwoofer (1300.00) and you're still below that 4K.

This TV has all the bells and whistles built in, not to mention made by the best brand on the market. For the price, not one came close to this, it was a steal. It has integrated Playstation capabilities. We got this TV for my parents so I wasn't so concerned having an the Ultra HD, but honestly, I can't tell the difference with this TV. The picture is sharp and practically works as its own computer.

I have bought this set to upgrade my four year old projection TV. As per technology enthuse report,,,, I should wait two more year for 4k TV. The 4k is still not mature enough to get broadcast vision available till next year. That has to be certain of many changes for future. So, I decided to go for 1080P with highest refresh rate available. This unit has motion 960rate is awesome when you watch NFL with live football mode. Watching Blu-ray movie with connected 7.1 receiver is an amazing theater experience. The smart TV functions are excellent for watching Netflix or surfing with online game. If you have all your all equipment by SONY and able work with SONY Bravia , you are the biggest beneficiary of this TV. The function that convinced me to buy this TV is X-Reality PRO. Check out at Best Buy in store live and you will believe in it… is worth each penny you spend for this TV.

I have one of these at my house already and I purchased this for my parents. It has been the best purchase I've made in a while. The picture and native response to this television is wonderful. Full vivid and rich true colors and pictures. You have two(2) 10 watt speakers on this tv. Typically tv's will come with a total of 10-15 watt speakers. So those of you who do not want to purchase a soundbar separately will have no problem with the stock sound on this model! I chose this over the competitive 75" Samsung 6 series J

We're in the middle of a basement remodel and wanted to have a theater room. My husband and I discussed getting an 80 inch tv but once we saw this one, we knew it was "the one". It has amazing features and an awesome picture. I love that we don't have to have a bunch of consoles hooked up to it because it already has Netflix, YouTube, ps3 downloads, etc. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a large tv. It was a good deal also. We paired it with in-ceiling speakers if you plan to do surround sound.

I bought this TV for a conference room at work. It is big enough for people farthest away to still be able to see busy spreadsheets. The smart functions allow us to tie into our net. Also really nice to watch a DVD at lunch with the built in speaker systems in the room, nice picture.

Just received and hooked my 75" 1080p all up. I spent a couple of months going back and forth deciding on whether or not to go to 4K. I was looking to replace my 55" Samsung. The retailers really do a great job in showcasing 4K over 1080p. I am NOT a bit upset with staying with1080. Not only did the overall investment intrigue me,but you really need to do your research, especially when it comes down to where your TV is located and the distance you are viewing from which will lead you to the ideal size and viewing technology. In many situations, 4K becomes irrelevant over 1080. Most of my TV watching comes from cable and some streaming. If you are looking for a huge TV with a fantastic price, this Sony is a NO Brainer!!!

Great Picture - Great Smart Features - Has the most adjustable picture Options on a TV I have seen yet. Bought for $2,500 but price dropped within 45 days to $2,000 so also got $500 refunded from Best Buy Price Match even though I was more than glad to Pay $2,500 for a TV of this size and quality

Hooked up to HDTV box and gets great picture quality. The darks really show during nighttime watching and the upconversion of non-HD content is also worth mentioning. Thin bezel and chrome TV stand add a modernist appeal to the TV compared to competitors.

We bought this TV for our living room. We are so happy with it. It's like sitting in a movie theater, the picture is that good. Easy to set up with my home wi-fi for stuff like Netflix.
