Color is spot on, friends and family love it, would recommend buying a sound bar as TV speakers are a little week in these bigger TV since they are downward facing instead of frontward.

Great size & picture, doublful on my non 4KHD pick

Not used to Android being on my TV more so proprietary SW, however I guess that's where everything's headed. Sort of uncertain about my choice of going with a non 4K TV, if I could go back in time I think I would have gotten a 4K TV. Has active 3D however no glasses so I would have to go out and buy 4 pairs, not sure the $ is worth it.

Models costing twice as much were, at best , equal in picture and features. You want a great tv with a big picture, and a small price tag? This is it!

Screen does not turn on, geek squad is slow

Picture is just as expected for a big Sony HD television as described in other reviews. HOWEVER, the screen does not turn on about half the time. This is an inexcusable problem with a new tv from Sony. Unfortunately the problem showed up more than 15 days after purchase so Best Buy (according to Geej Squad) won't exchange for a new tv. And geek squad isn't quite what you would expect in terms of service in exchange for the cost. Rather than replace the tv, they repair unless wait time for parts is greater than 30 days. We have to wait three weeks with a $2k TV sitting basically useless during the middle of football season, hoping the geeks get the repair done correctly - their first attempt may not even be the correct repair, who knows...they asked about 3 questions, ordered a part, scheduled a repair for 3 days later, then rescheduled the repair with a 2+ week delay.
