Picture quality great and smart capabilities great

Went to Best Buy months ago; fell in love with this Sony. The sales Specialist was amazing but the price was more than I wanted to spend. Waited for several months for price to drop. Finally, purchased it, had it delivered and love love love it. Picture is crystal, features and apps outstanding! I am a happy guy!!!

This tv was ordered for our son-in law in Las Vegas,NV, so we went out there for Christmas and we there when it was delivered , he was very surprised. We want to THANK Steven Thompson at the Rockwall,TX store for helping get this accomplished.

Clear screen, excellent sound, wide screen, bright colors, multi-functions. I am interesting in purchasing Sony products. I recommend some of my friends, my brothers and sisters that it is worthy to buy expensive products with the brand name like Sony. Television was displayed in my living room that looks so fancy in my house.

This TV is perfect for our home. It has great features. The Image is absolutely beautiful. My Family Loves it. Highly Recommend it.

Has not been a year since my purchase and its already acting wrong. Had colored line coming on and off . Factory warranty expiring in 1 month so not good . Had Samsung before for 5 years never had any problems

We love our 75" TV. Our grandkids rather stay inside to watch movies all day on it. I don't think that's a good thing or not... but we sure do love it!

The TV has great clarity and picture. It has a very small frame which gives it a great look on the wall. It's also very thin.

Great looking TV with lots of features and lots of apps available through the Google play store.

To spend that kind of money on such a large screen made by a big name such as Sony you would think it’s well made and would last trouble free for quite sometime. That didn’t happen. 2 months after the purchase date the tv was not taking the new firmware update, contacted customer service, stayed good 2 hours on the phone to finally decide that the main board needs to be replaced. So far so good, after replacing the main board the TV grey tone was more of a green tone really After a few phone calls with decent and RUDE CSR Sony finally agreed to replace it with new one not a certified one since technically the main board had to be damaged right out of the box. So now with the new or certified Tv (which I have noway of knowing really. When you play an HDR content the picture quality becomes very poor, but I found out that if I went to advanced settings, toggled HDR setting auto to HDR 10 you get an amazing picture. Clearly this would be a firmware issue. So why Sony is letting something like that without a fix Based on this experience, I so regret buying a Sony TV

In my opinion, this monitor had a very beautiful and flowing picture. Hooked up Bose Sound system and makes both TV and movies shine... would buy again

Excellent smart tv easy to navigate through menus nice picture

Good bright screen resolution, but the blacks are grey in color and has backlight bleeding. I called Sony to resolve the issue but they told me the tv was performing within spec. Luckily best buy let me exchange the tv for an OLED. Best decision ever. If you aren't picky this tv is fine. However, if you watch lots of movies then you won't be happy.

This tv is an amazing product with great picture quality and perfect size for any room.

I bought this TV in 2017 and today 2/2021 the screen went bad. It seems to be a known issue. Green and pinkish white horizontal lines. Sort of looks like a flag design. The TV is in responsive to anything I can do. Glad I bought a 5 year geek squad protection. Going to contact them now to see what they will do about it.

This is an Honest Review for the Xbr75x850E Pros. The Size is perfect. Football looks incredible on a setting call “Live Football Mode” that’s comes w the tv. 4K Content from Amazon looks AMAZING. It is SURREAL how far we’ve come with picture quality. I show pictures of my my tv screen 4K content taken with my cell Phone to my co workers and they can’t believe how good it looks! Verizon Fios looks really good on the tv. And now the price being at the lowest I’ve ever seen this tv for their Big Game Sale. You are getting a Bang for your Buck. A ton of cool Apps and will be synching it with Google home and Logitech Harmony for Home Automated Theater system. Cons. With the remote buttons sometimes it lags. It’s a bit slow. It’s like it’s playing catch up after you press the remote buttons. Also when you change input for ex: Netflix to Cable, the Netflix screen would fade and come back and you can hear the sound of the Netflix content while the screen is black trying to get you to Cable. It’s Buggy like that. But it’s only fractions of a second. Once the TV catches up, this tv is unbelievable! Comment on my review if you recently bought one and tell me what you think.

I feel very obligated to write this review in case anyone is in a similar predicament. A 75" TV is a significant invenstment and so most people will read a lot of reviews about it. We were looking for a TV for our living room which has a significant amount of natural sunlight. We were debating between the Samsung MU8000, the Sony 850e, and the Sony 900e. We ended up pulling the trigger on the Samsung mu8000 for the brightness and thinner bezel. When we received the TV (not from Best Buy) it has a very thick silver bezel. We didn't like the looks of it but thought we would try it out. The brightness was good but the motion blur made me want to vomit. We ended up sending it back and getting the 850e from Best Buy and it might be the best decision I've ever made. The picture was better, the brightness was just fine, and the motion was sooooo much better (despite the Sony technically having worse specs than he Samsung). Although I've never owned a 900e, I have never experienced a moment where I wished I'd upgraded because the 850e is absolutely awesome. I honestly don't notice the edge-lit bs direct lit and local dimming differences. I would buy this TV again in a heartbeat and my whole family absolutely loves it.

I give this 4.5 stars, but rounded up. The TV itself is really solid with a clear and crisp picture across the entirety of the screen. It was easy to set up and configure; and I get good sound quality paired with a Sonos soundbar. I will say it was hard to mount as this is heavy unit and given the size, difficult to maneuver if you don't have a lot of space between the TV and the mount.
