This is an Honest Review for the Xbr75x850E Pros. The Size is perfect. Football looks incredible on a setting call “Live Football Mode” that’s comes w the tv. 4K Content from Amazon looks AMAZING. It is SURREAL how far we’ve come with picture quality. I show pictures of my my tv screen 4K content taken with my cell Phone to my co workers and they can’t believe how good it looks! Verizon Fios looks really good on the tv. And now the price being at the lowest I’ve ever seen this tv for their Big Game Sale. You are getting a Bang for your Buck. A ton of cool Apps and will be synching it with Google home and Logitech Harmony for Home Automated Theater system. Cons. With the remote buttons sometimes it lags. It’s a bit slow. It’s like it’s playing catch up after you press the remote buttons. Also when you change input for ex: Netflix to Cable, the Netflix screen would fade and come back and you can hear the sound of the Netflix content while the screen is black trying to get you to Cable. It’s Buggy like that. But it’s only fractions of a second. Once the TV catches up, this tv is unbelievable! Comment on my review if you recently bought one and tell me what you think.

First off tv has a great picture and great sound compared to other TVs. “BUT” it’s a edge lit display and if u watch a lot of movies or darker shows this tv has lots of light bleed in all 4 corners! It looks like spot lights shinning to the center of screen from all 4 corners! It enoyed me enough that I returned and upgraded to the full array XBR75X900E and no light bleed at all! And the picture is quite a bit better and clearer than the xbr850E! The XBR75X900E is what I expected from Sony not the XBR850E what a disappointment that was! Just glad Best Buy was great about the exchange and picked up the XBR850E tv when they dropped off the XBR75X900E and only had to pay the difference in price for the upgrade! THANKS BEST BUY! Now hopefully this tv will last the next 10yrs or more like my last XBR52”(it’s now my shop tv) and still going strong!

I bought this 75 inch flat screen after having a dedicated home theater in my previous home with a 110 in screen, in wall speakers with Denon receiver, and Epson Projection. The picture quality here is far superior and when teamed up with the Sony 4K blue ray player, and Sony 7.1 soundbar this makes up a complete home theater system with fantastic sound, beautiful picture, and easy to setup with no need for cutting holes in walls and running wires everywhere. I'm a true believer in Sony technology again.

Upgraded to this from a nice Samsung 55. This thing is great.. you can read all you want about some minor negatives like viewing angle and depth of black...., but for someone who is picky, but not a TV freak.... we love it and none of those things matter unless you are an analyst. The picture is amazing especially in 4K. I contemplated the model above it in quality(higher refresh), however I would have had to do a 65 for the same price.. I couldn’t really tell the difference and we have a big wall/room. We did it, had it installed and it is awesome. No regrets. Price was great with preblack Friday deals. I found it for like 30 cheaper on amazon, but I’d have to wait for it, it would be a royal pain to return and this way I could see it and touch it before I bought it. I was willing to pay 100-200 more to do it local, but I didn’t have too.

I had been wanting a 75’ for sometime and had been shopping around. Looked at Samsung brand first because I usually shop that brand. Then I saw the Sony brand. Saw the picture on this TV and the price made it just that much better. I was sold!

I feel very obligated to write this review in case anyone is in a similar predicament. A 75" TV is a significant invenstment and so most people will read a lot of reviews about it. We were looking for a TV for our living room which has a significant amount of natural sunlight. We were debating between the Samsung MU8000, the Sony 850e, and the Sony 900e. We ended up pulling the trigger on the Samsung mu8000 for the brightness and thinner bezel. When we received the TV (not from Best Buy) it has a very thick silver bezel. We didn't like the looks of it but thought we would try it out. The brightness was good but the motion blur made me want to vomit. We ended up sending it back and getting the 850e from Best Buy and it might be the best decision I've ever made. The picture was better, the brightness was just fine, and the motion was sooooo much better (despite the Sony technically having worse specs than he Samsung). Although I've never owned a 900e, I have never experienced a moment where I wished I'd upgraded because the 850e is absolutely awesome. I honestly don't notice the edge-lit bs direct lit and local dimming differences. I would buy this TV again in a heartbeat and my whole family absolutely loves it.

Great 4K T.V for the sale price. Not 5 stars because remote is IR and not RF. RF is way more practical especially when TV is wall mounted and the IR sensor is hard to aim at. All other aspects of picture quality and ease of use is fantastic

Went from a 65inch smart TV to this 4 k set never thought how much of a difference the size upgrade was going to make but man it filled the whole room with color and even the sound was pretty decent even though the unit is so wide and slim but I do recommend a good sound system I have a Bose system to get theater quality sound and experience to go with the picture and also when streaming 4k movies didn't think I would see a big difference in that either but any movie you watch will leave you speeches No way you can go wrong with this TV only bad thing is the jump in price from anything bigger than a 65 inch but believe me the price is well worth it i couldn't be more satisfied

Upgrading of picture is obvious. It's really neat to be able to see exactly the picture quality your looking at. It's not my imagination, it really is 4K. Even on stuff that was barely SD in the day. I have learned make the people who know what they're doing your friends. Get there at a time that's not busy, talk with them and make a friend who can guide you to the TV your really looking for and if this Sony is it be careful where your sitting because it will blow your socks off.

It is one big box to transport but it unpacks easily and it can be handled by two people. Set up it easy, it walks you through it with no issues. First 75" TV for me and so far it is wonderful. I have it on its stand and it stays up and seems plenty secure. My only complaint would be my local Best Buy didnt have it according to the online system but I stopped in anyway and they had plenty of them. Since it was a Black Friday special I am guessing they didnt want to advertise they had it so they wouldnt be over run with more buyers than product.

I have to give this TV a 5-Star, considering how relatively inexpensive it is. Phenomenal 4K picture, especially with 4K Blu Ray discs. (Deadpool, A Few Good Men both unbelievable pictures). The one gripe I have on this TV is cycling through the action menus & home menus. The reaction time from pressing buttons on the remote to the TV responding to it is horrendous. I don’t know why Sony Bravia series hasn’t corrected this issue. This is the 3rd Bravia TV I’ve owned, and it’s the same issue with every one. Same issue with the apps on the TV.

I absolutely love this TV. This was our first foray into a 4k UHD model and I'm so glad we bought this TV. The picture quality is amazing, the vibrancy of the colors and the details... wow, just wow! The remote offers a great UX and interface with all of the Smart apps/functions. The only negative? The quality of the picture on this TV is so good, it makes it hard to watch any of our other TVs - which I thought were perfectly fine until now. So, I guess we're going to have to bite the bullet and upgrade our other TV's to 4k UHD.

this 75 in tv is outstanding! it was down to the samsung or the sony and while they were priced the same the sony had a more natural color scheme. sports is off the hook and netflix and amazon shows are clear and seamless. Very easy to setup didnt even look at the book! I paired with a sony blu ray whole setup took 30 mins!

This is my first 4K tv and I’m pretty loyal to the Sony brand. I went from a 60” lcd to this one and couldn’t be happier. Lots of HDMI inputs, thin bezel around the picture, and easy to use. I use this TV for xbox one x gaming, AppleTV 4K, and TiVo. I couldn’t be happier with the picture and the overall viewing experience. A bit pricey, but solid.

TV was easy to set up. Shows beautifully. Color is intense and dynamic. Price was excellent too.

I spent a lot of time reviewing and comparing this TV with the 75” Samsung MU8000. Happy to say that the Sony exceeds my expectations. Pictures are sharp and colors are true. Nice user interface.

Great TV, the blacks are super sharp, and the colors are vibrant. I have it set up in my game room but thinking about moving it to my living room. It's also very light weight for its size. The screen is glossy so it reflects light but the outer frame is so thin it feels like an 80in. Oh and it just went on sale so I had to jump on it. Highly recommended!

Big beautiful screen, everything looks better in 4K and HDR. No issues so far. One thing to be aware are the mounting screw holes are not centered, and are offset lower on the TV. This caused a little more leverage on my tilt mount and tilts a bit more than I want off the wall. This TV is so thin that I would consider getting a static mount instead.

There is little to complain about here; great picture, easy set up. The quality is great at default settings, but there are ample options for fine tuning as well. 4K and HDR are the way to go.
