The Sony 75" 4K Ultra HD has an absolutly beautiful picture easy for initial setup. I would highly recommend to anylooking for a larger 4K tv.

After several weeks of comparison shopping and product research, I narrowed my choices to Samsung or Sony. I would have been happy with either. On the day of my purchase the 75 inch Sony was $700 less than the 75 inch Samsung, so I purchased the Sony. I am very pleased with this product. 4K images are pristine.

The picture quality on this TV was great. I had two issues with this TV. The first was how poorly it handled blurring of fast motion. I used the Youtube app on the TV to play a motion blurring test video and I couldn't read the text that would move horizontally in the video. The second problem was that the status screen would appear everytime I changed the volume of the receiver. This is because my receiver displays an overlay on the TV to show the current volume and the TV would always display its status after the volume overlay would disappear. I returned the TV and bought the 75" Samsung UN75MU8000FXZA which had neither of these problems. This TV handles motion pretty well, but did not handle the "extreme" cases of motion. For that reason, I would not buy it, but it still handles motion better than lower priced TVs I've seen.

I did countless hours of research before buying my TV. I started with an initial order of the XBR75X850D because BB was closing this model out and the price was incredible. Unfortunately I never took delivery because I saw Sony had just released the NEW E models in the spring and heard the E models were much improved over the previous D models. I decided to wait for the 850E and took that home instead. Let me start by saying I have a very bright Family Room with windows all over. While the TV (850E) was awesome it did struggle in the very bright room. The colors were good but the contrast was lacking, black levels weren't as good as I expected and the brightness was not enough for my extremely bright room. I'm sure in a normal room this would work fine. I attempted to play with it for a couple weeks but ultimately was not satisfied even after tweaking as much as I could. Ultimately I decided to step up to the 900E model that I always wanted. To my luck, the price of the 900E went down during my 30 days of my purchase of my 850E and Best Buy swapped it out for me. Best Buy made it so easy to exchange the TV. When delivering the 900E they picked up the 850E and made it simple. The 850E is a great TV but the 900E is a huge upgrade in image quality. The brightness, contrast, inky blacks are significantly better than the 850E, I'm sure it has to do with the Full Array backlight of the 900E. I did some quick research and found the optimal settings and got it working perfectly. The Magnolia team in Kildeer, IL were awesome from beginning to end. Thanks Best Buy! I'm just in love with my purchase it shows great color this tv just pops. I'm a big tv size person so it's just great over all.

My first smart tv. Great quality picture and easy to set up and use. Purchased sound bar to go along with it and couldn't be happier.

So far we are enjoying the tv. Install services were ok. We weren’t fond of the Android tv feature, so we are using Apple TV. Also noticed the responsiveness to the Sony remote was slow...another reason we went with another streaming device. Overall, it’s good viewing for what we paid.

I only been using the tv for YouTube and karaoke and it's been superb
