These cards are my favorite way to make digital purchases. No credit card info need to does on PS network. No worries about stolen data. I even use them to keep my ps+ membership active

I’ve tried this code over and over and it doesn’t work.I feel like they charged me for it but didn’t even activate it.

I tried to purchase this online using a Best Buy gift card, which I’ve been able to do before within the year, but Best Buy kept cancelling it because they couldn’t verify my information and informed me that I needed to complete my purchase in store. I went to the store the next day and talked to the staff about my issue. They said they were unable to complete my purchase because Best Buy is stopped allowing these kind of purchases to be made with gift cards a couple years ago. (Then how was I able to do it just a few months ago?) I then completed the purchase using my Best Buy credit card. First of all, why doesn’t Best Buy inform their customers of this when they are trying to make the purchase? Nothing ever said they don’t allow these types of purchases using gift cards. It just said it was unable to verify my information. Secondly, why not? If people want to use a Best Buy gift card to purchase digital currency for PlayStation, XBox, Nintendo, or any other gaming system, why shouldn’t they be allowed to do so? I can see not being allowed to purchase Best Buy gift cards with reward certificates because that’s changing something with an expiration date to something that’s indefinite for products purchased at Best Buy. I’ve read the reason they ceased allowing such purchases to be made with gift cards is to prevent fraud, but that’s not really preventing fraud if you think about it. If I’m being swindled into buying gift cards or digital currency for someone attempting to defraud me, what difference does it make if I buy them with Best Buy gift cards or with my own money? Either way, I’m still being swindled. If I’m using gift cards I swindled out of someone else, then I could just as easily use them to buy tangible products. Therefore, it’s not actually preventing fraud. The fraud would’ve already occurred. You’d have to discontinue gift card purchases altogether in order to prevent this type of fraud. Best Buy, please go back to allowing your customers to purchase digital currency and gift cards for other businesses in your store and online with our Best Buy gift cards. There is really no legitimate reason not to. I have this product 5 stars because it’s not PlayStation’s fault Best Buy is like this. Their product worked exactly as advertised.

Accidently lost the card during my recent move before activating it so word to the wise, always take a pic of the front and back as there is no way to look up the number if you lose it.
