I purchased this tv as an open box item. Got a great price for it. The picture quality is fantastic. As everyone knows the sound quality on these TVs is nothing to write home about. I will be adding a soundbar to it soon. All that said, I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Christmas Present for me
This TV is incredible, especially when I paired it with the Sonos Beam-2 and ERA 300 surround speakers. The sales staff at the Sheboygan Best Buy alert me to this flash sale just by chance when I went into Best Buy to purchase a 4K Blue-Ray. Overall an excellent sales experience and excellent TV.

The best TV I have ever owned! All the colors are crazy good - I definitely thought it was steep on the price but after using it for a year…this was the best electronic in my house. Gets a lot of compliments on the picture quality !

works as advertised and the Sony virtual help center was very helpful in resolving my issue. I have a LG OLED and i heard this TV was better, after a month of using I have to agree, much brighter and picture quality is outstanding. However, do not get geek quad, get another 3-party to set-up your TV and soundbar, They came to my house twice, once they mounted the TV and just tested the sound bar, then they had to come back because they forgot to setup the sound bar (which thy did) but they did not make the right connection for ATMOS to work on the sound bar. I waited another 2 weeks, never called me back even though they had escalated it to higher management. Finally, I contacted SONY help center they resolved my issue in 3 second. A colossal customer failure on the part of best buy Geek Squad,

SONY 83 inch TV….must own

Best TV today. Have always trusted SONY for the last 30 years and this TV did not disappoint. I already own a 65in and 75 in but before OLED was introduced. I paid over $8000 for those 2 TVs. And I still thought those are the best but this OLED SONY is incredible.

Amazing, but manage expectations if used to LCD

Coming from a bright LCD it is hard to make the adjustment to even a bright OLED. This TV excels because there is no dirty screen effect. It can display perfect black and perfect white right next to each other. The specular highlights pop off the screen. I still believe there is a certain amount of black crush and difficulty with near-blacks but it is better than every tv out there. Every week I enjoy this TV more, its ability to really show subtle detail is not matched by anything you can buy. I am a very picky user and could not settle for anything less.

Best picture I’ve ever seen! Deep blacks, vibrant colors. Fantastic downsampling for watching sports (cause their always broadcast in low res). And forget about it if you watch a 4k video on it…. Game over!!

Excellent TV. Stunning clarity. The sound coming out of the TV screen is pretty incredible—it really feels like its coming out of the actors' mouths. I also have an LG OLED TV and I prefer the Sony/Google user interface to the LG UI.

Large immersive & brighter OLED 4K TV

Pricey but excellent 4KTV . Fantastic picture quality, bright HDR and dolby vision highlights as this TV uses an aluminum heat sink on the back of it so it can push the tv brighter . Great size at 83” so it very immersive for movies & your streaming shows . OLEDs have the perfect pitch black background which makes objects pop more . XR Processor on this tv is excellent, so good motion & upsampling.

I love having an 83” screen which doesn’t require me to adjust my sitting distance from the tv. It has a picture which has great definition and beautiful color. Skin tones are very natural. Sound is excellent as well. I have never enjoyed watching tv this much

Absolutely amazing TV! Picture quality is outstanding brightness is the best I’ve seen on the OLED. Motion is awesome to! Sony hit a home run with this one. Only downside is it’s very expensive!

This Sony tv has been great. The picture is amazing. No issues at this time and very happy with the tv. The setting on the tv to switch to external speakers was in a odd location, but the Best Buy Tech help get this resolved.

Exceptional in every way. The 83” A90J is brighter and handles near blacks better than the Sony 77A1E it replaced. Picture quality is class leading. We’re using the A90J as a center speaker. Getting sound straight from the screen is the closest you can get to sound transparent projector screens with a center behind. Sound is close enough, after room correction, to L/R and rears that we don’t miss the matching center. Eliminating the center also gives media area a really clean look.
