A bit pricey but you can get it on sale from time to time. I bought it to use my Minolta MC/MD lenses. It basically turns your mirrorless camera into a DSLR for MC/MD/A mount lenses. Why would you do that? If you have A mount Sony lenses then no brainier. If you have legacy Minolta glass then no brainier. Gives you options. It has performed very well. No problems. On lenses that have automatic focus I get continuous Auto Focus also can get single point. That being said not all of you selections are available. Your frames per second decrease but didn't have a problem shooting in sports mode with a Minolta 100-200mm. Manual lenses can also be used. You will have to focus them. Be sure to enable peeking. I turned off manual assist and assigned a button for 5.9 magnification. Having a bit of fun using the old lenses. Do your research before you buy a legacy lens from an online auction house and clean that bought lens first, before you attach it to your adapter. Hope this helps. I would buy it again.

I picked up a new A7ii body for a Christmas present and this made it work great with my older lenses. Auto focus worked great with all my older lenses even my 300-2.8 lens. A must have for anyone that wants to try the small bodies and already has some Sony equipment.

This is a great tool for those that have legacy glass, or want to purchase A- mount lenses. Some may question why put a mirror on a mirrorless camera? At $349 its not cheap, but Sony's A7 has a limited number of full frame lenses available at the moment, this allows you to expand your arsenal and not be stuck with croppped images from the Nex lineup if you cant wait on new lenses. Its very light, but it does add length on the lens side and therefore more bulk, but the flexibility is worth it. It has a tripod mount so i would recommend using that so that with large lenses, its better balanced. It has a built in motor for screw drive lenses, so your not just stuck with manual lenses. so far, its been a great buy.

I use this with my Sony a7II. So far all of my old Alpha glass has worked including those from Sigma like the 150-500mm.

If you have minolta AF A-mount lenses, this is the adapter that you need to make your lens work with auto focus. The adapter has its own AF system so if you use it with A7 III, you wont be using its advanced AF system.

This lens adapter allows me to use an a-mount lens on my e-mount sony cameras (a6000/a6500). I don't notice much if any quality loss.

I replaced my Sony Alpha 550 camera with a new Sony Alpha A7 ii camera. The two cameras have different lens mounting systems (A mount and E mount). I have additional lenses from my Alpha 550 which are A mount. The lens adapter allows me to mount them to my E mount A7 ii without my having to purchase new additional lenses.

Purchased this to allow me other lens options for my Sony mirrorless camera. While it worked, I just did not like using an adaptor.

Been waiting for this adapter too long...finally made the purchase and it exceeded my expectations. Using my sal50/1.4 lens on a6000.

Very easy to mount and makes it easy to use A mount lens on my Sony 7rIII camera. Saved money not having to buy new lens.

Works like a charm although it is a bit heavy. Much better to use this than buy a different camera!

This allows my minolta lens to work with my sony camera. It's not perfect, but it works and it's small so doesn't extend my lens extra far out from the camera.

It allows me to use my A-Mount Sony lenses on my A7 E-mount camera with complete funcionality.

Works as advertised! I moved to the a6000 from the a65 for its portability and fast autofocus. I had quite a good number of lenses in that system and still want to use them. This makes me not have to buy a new set of lenses for my mirrorless camera.
