The picture quality is sharp, the autofocus is super fast, and the colors look amazing straight out of the camera. It’s lightweight and easy to carry around, which makes it perfect for travel or everyday shooting. The 4K video is clear, and the flip-up screen makes it great for selfies or recording videos. The 16–50mm kit lens is good for beginners—very versatile for wide shots and close-ups. I love that I can transfer photos to my phone quickly using the Sony app, so I don’t need to use my laptop. Overall, it’s a great camera if you want something easy to use but still high quality. Highly recommend for beginners or anyone who wants great photos without needing a super complicated setup!

I had a Canon T3i for nearly 13-15 years, I needed a fairly new but an beginner-intermediate friendly camera. I have used the camera for the last month and I really enjoy it! For me who has smaller hands, the camera body feels and fits really nicely. I would say the quality of the photos, video and sound is great! I can understand the positive and negative reviews I’ve seen online, especially with the battery life, which is my only complaint, but fortunately spare batteries are available! There is a learning curve with this camera, but once you learn how to work it, it’s smooth sailing! I would only recommend this camera for beginners who are getting into their photography journey and wants an in between price point and the casuals that take more photos than the average person.

Incredible camera for the size

The camera is light and easy to travel with. Great for shooting casualy and proffesionaly. I have used the A6100 for both weddings as a guest and photographer and i can confidently say i will never go back to my old DSLR. Even with heavier lenses the camera is light. Best purchase ive made.

So after further research, I landed on this one and I'm so glad I picked mirrorless over point and shoot. I am obsessed with the crisp quality of the pictures and bring it with me on every trip or outing, there is a bit of a learning gap to get the best quality image depending on lighting. Highly recommend. The only downside is the size, it doesn't fit in my smaller bags, but I take the lens off to make it more compact.
