Really nice camera

I did some research and chose the alpha 6400 over the 6100 because of the waterproof casing. Worth it to me for just a bit more money. I am a complete amateur but am able to take much higher quality photos with this camera than with my phone or my old point and shoot. Looks like it has tons of options for additional lenses. Cannot wait to try out some others. I feel like you get a lot of camera for the price.

great camera for novice like me

I plan to read the instructions so I can get better at taking pictures. That said, I wish the instructions were more readily available and easier to understand.

Kit lens is solid for general use, but I’m looking to get a 35mm or 50mm with a lower f-stop. Recently filmed a mini studio documentary for my band with this as the main camera and was very pleased. Tons of YouTube tutorials out there on how to navigate the menus and adjust settings.

It's crystal clear and provides perfect quality for any sort of project you may be working on. I would highly recommend this , especially if you're able to snag it on sale like I was able to. Even without a sale, this is still worth the price, go get yourself one! 5/5 stars!

The camera and the video 4K features are extremely excellent as a lower budget camera. Video is clear. Pictures are crisp. I recommend this to anyone starting out in photography and or videography. Including those who make vlogs and YouTube videos. I wish it had a built in stablizer.
