I'm sure this camera is great as all the reviews indicate, but this is more about Best Buy and their service. First, I ordered the a6400 and it showed up two days later. Problem was, the box was open, there was no packing to protect the camera, and the camera packaging itself was damaged. Sure enough, when inspecting the camera, the viewfinder was shattered. Now comes the fun part. Returning the camera. I elected to do it via the BB Chat, because I was wasting time going through all the prompts on the phone. Trying to actually get to a human seemed futile. So after a lengthy chat, I was told that a replacement camera was on its way and would arrive today. No dice. So I checked my BB account, and found that the replacement order was cancelled. So now, I'm going through the prompts again to speak to a human. When I finally do, I was told that the backend team, whoever that is, cancelled the order and that I will have to wait for the returned camera to arrive to BB, get the refund, and re-order. I'm trying to give BB a grand and boy do they make it hard. First off, how do you sell a thousand dollar camera and put it in a box twice the camera's size and not provide and packing material? The box also had no tape to seal it. It's some sort of box that has it's own adhesive that obviously didn't do well in colder temps. Anyway, like I said at the beginning, I'm sure the camera is great, but like all the big box stores, the service is garbage. Serves me right, I suppose.

I didn't think this Sony model was that good. It is versatile: Photography = 10 points. Video = 10 points. Live sections = 10 points. Handling = Easy. Manufacturing quality = 10 points. 100% recommendable

Excellent quality and features. Focus is amazing and overall image quality is great. Menu can be hard to use at first but there are plenty of guides online. Body is weatherproof so you can take this anywhere. Be sure to buy spare batteries as the battery does not last long on this one. This is a great choice if you are debating between all the a6000 models.

If you are a person that looks through reviews before you purchase like me, look no further. This camera is great for all levels of experience. It is easy to use and very adaptable. Not to mention the quality. Amazing for traveling because of the size. And on the more affordable side, so you aren’t breaking the bank.

This camera is so amazing! As a beginner photographer, this camera is where it's at. Sleek, easy to use and charge up. I bought a nifty fifty lens to go with it and let me tell you it's a game changer! Highly recommend this camera and a 50 mm f 1.8 lens to add to it! Thanks best buy!

Awesome little camera with so many features. Being I am a beginner to this camera game, I purchased the A6400 and I am well pleased with the quality of photos and videos. I would highly recommend this camera as it is offered at a great price, is small and compact and renders the Sony name which is known for quality.

Purchased this for my live streaming camera on Twitch and the complements never stop pouring in! So easy to use and the 1080 is stunning. Auto focus is GREAT! Easy to set up with the Camlink.. Yes a bit more pricey.. BUT WORTH IT. I def recommend!

I have owned a Sony Nex-5N for many years. It was time for a new camera and naturally I gravitated to a new an improved version, which is the A-6400. I like the compact size, ease of use, great quality and the flip-up screen--all important for travel which is the majority of use. Add to that the 4K video and a few other subtle features and you have a winner

Easy to use. I love how easy it is to handle as well. The battery life is not the greatest so make sure you get like 3 batteries on hand. Also, place a screen protector on the camera as well. The pictures some out amazing and fast when you shoot. Low light photos are not best but majority of the pictures are good!!

This is the perfect camera. Beginner friendly and offers incredible pictures at a reasonable price. This camera does it all. It is now my go-to camera and never leaves my side!

Just getting into photography, but this has been an excellent camera for learning! The quality is really nice for the price, and it’s lightweight which is helpful for me, as I really enjoy hiking and backpacking.

Initially I was apprehensive, moving from a Canon rebel to the Sony mirrorless world. How could it get any better than Canon amirite? Well, it did. The a6400 is everything a Canon isn't and more, versatile, compact, feature packed, etc. I feel more in control with the long list of settings on the Sony VS the Canon. The pictures and video taken with this camera are above and beyond any other camera I've owned for a similar price. The Sony a6400 is the best option for someone looking for an intermediate use aps-c camera. The lens upgrade options are fantastic, pricy, yet the body is cheaper than similar Canon cameras. I feel confident with the eye auto focus and continuous af in 4k. If this is this good, I can't wait to move to a full frame Sony in the future! :) tldr, Canon killer Sony is epic

Amazing for amateur photographers, this camera has been amazing and has took near perfect photos of football players at many different levels. the shutter speed is very good for something like sports photography

This camera is beyond what I expected. I’m an amateur and don’t know much but I did some research and decided to purchase this for my travels. The smile feature is awesome. The quality of the pictures is so clear and the video as well. I took it to Costa Rica and got it wet in a storm near a waterfall. It had some water damage on the screen but I left it alone for two days and it’s back to normal. The size was my favorite feature as it does everything a large camera does but with a compact body. Definitely recommend!

The camera is everything you would expect when spending so close to a thousand dollars. If you’re new to Sony, prepare yourself to spend a couple day’s figuring out the settings and do research on shooting menus and function buttons! Autofocus is on so good and battery life lasts a couple hours of shooting as long as you’re turning it off when not In use. I’d recommend an extra battery, and to buy an actual charger rather than charging through the camera.

I have a Sony camera before and I got the 6400, I changed because I want to explore new tech and also want to connect to my phone and be able to share images in social media in the spot. So I like it, my only concern is the operation ... it seams more complicated than my old a58. I have to watch a youtube video tutorial to get back to the functionality of the camera and features.
