Regarding your overheating concern, please note that some cameras, including this one, may experience heating issues due to various factors, including prolonged use, environmental conditions, or specific camera settings. While we strive to design our cameras to handle different situations, sometimes unexpected issues can arise. So to prolong your recording time you can set the Auto Power OFF Temp. to high and prevent the camera from direct sun exposure.

Shuts down from over heating even in the late afternoob sun. If yiu are nit shooting 4k they say you’ll get more time, but then why buy this camera?
