The camera was very easy to use. Took excellent pictures for such a small camera. And was light weight for transportation.

This is a great camera for beginners and also photo hobbyists. You can set it to fully automatic and just shoot away. Over all pictures are very good and sharp. When shot in low light when camera uses ISO 3200, picture is still usable and bright. For day time shooting, this camera is excellence. Love it !!!. But since I take most of my pictures at night and indoor, I will probably replace the kit lens with something with lower F-Stop. For video, this camera is excellence also.

I'm one of those folks who has decried the demise of the viewfinder in digital cameras. Since mirrorless cameras can only have an electronic viewfinder, most of them have none or require an add on that attaches to the hot shoe. So, a major selling point for this camera is that it has a built in one. So far the pictues are great and should improve when I learn how to use more of the features.

I started using a Sony NEX 3 mirrorless camera several years ago as a smaller alternative to my Canon SLR. It wasn't as good as my SLR but was a much better alternative to a standard point and shoot camera. I upgraded to the Alpha A 6000. The quality of the camera and the quality of the images in such a small light package is wonderful. I basically use this instead of my trusty SLR now. I purchased this camera for my honeymoon and have not been disappointed easy to use, looks great, and takes great shots. I recommend if you are a newbie to take a class or do some online research to learn how to use.

This camera can be used for beginners as well as prosumer. It allows the user to fully dependent upon the camera or manually set all parameters by himself/herself. Auto Focus is very fast. The body is light. As the user understands more about photography, the user can grow with it. The user can attach Sony E mount lenses or even some legacy lenses using adapter. This is a camera for all.

Looks Great and takes great pictures with ease. It's easy to use and is small enough to carry anywhere.

This camera is an excellent value, I purchased for ~$600 before tax. A great fit for someone looking for something more advanced than a point and shoot camera. Compact size is great for travel, especially in comparison to a traditional DSLR. Camera is well constructed and has a high-quality feel.

Great little camera. Didn't want to carry around a DSRL so got this. So many options. End up using auto option because I haven't had a chance to play around with the manual settings, but the pictures come out superb. Highly recommend.

Sony a6000 is great camera to take pictures with a tons of options and very light. highly recommend the camera.

Wore out 2 Canons and working on a Lumix, all super zoom bridge cameras. Stopped at Best Buy to look at Canon SX60 or Nikon P900. Best Buy"s Sean recently got the Alpha 6000 and was contagiously charged up with it. I told him what I do with, and expect from a camera, primarily wildlife. He, I believe unintentionally talked me into trying this. Not wanting to get caught up in the bigger, bigger craze of lenses, I stayed away from these. I got the 55-210mm with the camera and will try to be satisfied for a while. I always shoot manual and am amazed to find the A6000 is actually simpler, faster, MUCH more versatile, and much more fun! After about a month, I say buy it!!! 4 stars because nothing is perfect.

This little camera takes great photos. Easy to use and with the ability to upgrade the lens you can't go wrong.
