Good value for money travel camera. Bought it used and very happy with the purchase.

I don't regret ever buying this amazing camera. The Sony A6000 is just as sharp and light as the reviews claimed. Paired with the lens I also bought at best buy (35mm 1.8) takes beautiful pics. The bokeh is great, the sharpness is there. Overall great camera. Definitely recommend this camera for beginners, great price for the features especially.

I bought this camera for work in order to take accurate pictures of hair colors I create. I picks up color true to tone extremely well, and does everything needed. I can’t speak for photography as a whole, because I don’t use it for anything else.

It's a very good camera, but the kit lens is poor, and it makes a noise when zoom in a video. buy the body only, do not buy the kit. It's a "get your job done" camera, not a "for fun" camera unless you use adapter for other vintage lens.

I'm truly a novice, but from what I have used the camera for, I have truly enjoyed. Unfortunately, I can't do any comparisons for you.

Very nice camera even if it's an older camera. Granted it doesn't have all the whistle and bells the current Sony camera's have but it's a decent little camera and the kit lens is pretty good as well!

Decided to purchase this camera after doing extensive internet research. Couldn't be more pleased with this camera. I'm a beginner so the preset modes are perfect while I'm still learning to use all the functions and settings. Love how it can produce pro level images without breaking the bank. Very happy with this purchase.

After reading reviews on the SonyA6000 I decided I wanted to switch to Mirrorless. I'm so happy I did! Image quality is amazing. Lots more features and options than I did with my beginner DSLR. A very fun camera to use. I primarily use for taking pictures of my pets. Image quality is outstanding. Would recommend to any looking to get excellent images at reasonable price.

I bought this as a tiny camera to do some street photography while on my bike rides. I love this little camera. Low noise, 24mp, even the 16-50 kit lens is awesome. Super sharp. I’d give it more stars if I could.

A6000 is the best to go if you don't want to haul a DSLR with you. Image quality is beyond description. It's a great buy, I read and test a lot before I purchase. I want to make sure I get my money's worth and this camera delivered every penny. Low lights (church) photos were great.

The Sony A6000 is a trustworthy APS-C mirrorless camera with a built-in electronic viewfinder (EVF). The viewfinder is a must have if you are going to take pictures outside. Buy an adapter to use other legacy manual focus lenses (if you have them) with this camera and there is no stopping you from taking great pictures at a low cost. I've used older lenses (Nikon, Canon, and Minolta) with fantastic results using the adapters (highly recommend). And, if you just stick to the basic lenses (entry level) you can't go wrong either. The zoom works, great, but you cannot use Raw with the zoom enabled, so they're not editable. I use highest quality and Raw files. Fantastic results. For the price, this cannot be beat. Great entry level mirrorless camera. Took this picture today with lowest resolution. Imagine if it were a raw file at high resolution.

This camera really does take nice pictures. I'm just a beginner and I can already see the difference. This is my third Sony camera in the last 20 + years. Sony is an excellent brand, I love the quality of Sony products. I also have a Sony dvd player - it already lasted 15 years and it still works !

If you're looking, stop. NO RAGRETS! I love capturing the moment. The moment everyone looks the happiest. The moment the clouds look the fluffiest. If you're looking for something to capture that magical moment, you've found the camera.

Best Camera Ever the Best So far I recommend this to Beginners and professional

It was a good choice for me in beginning of studing taking a nice pics.

I had a Sony a6000, and it was the best camera experience of my life. I just wish I would have investigated the cost of the lenses before purchasing, however. I ended up selling my camera because the kit lens was just not very good - it developed a healthy fisheye distortion - and I couldn't afford to upgrade. Now I am packing a Nikon d3200, and taking pretty pics - but, it's not a Sony a6000. I'm sad, and mad at Sony for being so darn expensive and elitist. I feel robbed of a fun premium photography experience because I can't pay their price. Waaaaa!!!!!

I am in love with this camera. I travel very frequently so I love taking pictures. It might be older camera but for its price it is pretty amazing. LOVE IT!!

This camera has full manual controls and a lot of extras. My personal favorite feature that makes this better than DSLRs I have tried is the digital viewfinder. When you are taking shots and have to make quick adjustments, the digital viewfinder is like a heads up display with all your settings in front of you... even a histogram. What you see in the viewfinder is how the photo will be exposed so there is no need to take the camera away from your face. No more missing shots.
