Love this camera! When my old camera died I did tons of research for the perfect replacement. I also went to multiple stores (“on display” models) to try out the finalists on my list. The A6500 was perfect for me. The camera does so much more than I thought- and inspired me to study the art of photography and videography in my spare time.

I love his camera. Takes awesome pictures. Not too small or too big. The size is just right.

Really like this camera. Takes great pictures on auto mode. I wanted better pictures than from a pocket camera but did not want to lug around a full size pro type camera. This camera is not to bulky It has all the features and more than a full size pro type camera. Very fast shutter speed. And has video recording.

If you are looking for professional quality, and are willing to forego a couple of the perks of the A series full frame cameras, it is tough to go wrong with this guy. We have used it in our church to create promo videos and take some photos to use for different events and it has been great.

Given a choice between having a 4k or full frame, normally I would go for a full frame. But since I already own one, I chose this A6500 because of the 4k quality to keep my camera up to date. Image stabilization within the body is a plus.

Upgraded to this camera from the A5100, and I'm glad I did. It's our go to everyday camera, light enough to grab and go, but packs so much features with amazing autofocus and great video capabilities.

I really liked the camera. Great pictures. The Sony a7ii took better pics (in my opinion), but was bigger and heavier, plus did not have a touch screen nor as many points of focus. The 6500 was not as light as I had hoped for but was still smaller than my Sony A mount cameras. Unfortunately, I bought an open-box one that was shipped without a battery charger or cable, so I returned it. I’ll probably buy another 6500 but not an open-box one.

I upgraded to this beauty from the A6000. It has awesome features I paired this with the 35mm lens. Wow. They work wonderfully together, very fast, sharp and beautiful bokeh material

I bought this primarily for video. This has been a great bang for the buck. It’s the beat I will do before going full frame.

A really good, light weight camera. You will have to be patient to learn all that it can do, with its very expansive menu, but the results are worth it. Love the burst shots. And the ability to send pictures from my camera to my phone is so cool. Looking forward to taking it to Italy this summer!
