Perfect Camera for Content Creators & Bloggers!

As a lifestyle blogger, I needed something lightweight but powerful — and this camera checks every box. The image quality is crisp, the autofocus is smooth and fast (perfect for vlogging on the go), and the flip screen makes it super easy to record myself without needing extra help. Battery life has been solid so far, and I love how easy it is to transfer content to my phone. Whether I’m filming tutorials, product reviews, or just snapping aesthetic photos, this camera keeps up with me. Shout out to the Best Buy team for their help during the purchase process — they answered all my questions and made sure I walked out confident in my choice. Highly recommend this for any content creator, new or experienced! And hey, winning that $400 gift card wouldn’t hurt either

Great little camera

It takes very good to excellent photos. Takes very good videos. Has excellent auto focus both with still photography and videos - it is very good at knowing what to focus on, and out-of-focus shots or video are very rare and quickly corrected in video. It is not as good as a high-end full-frame camera at photos or video. But I expected this. Its low light performance is good, but I would not rate it as great. But I'm used to a high-end full frame camera. In good lighting it exceeded my expectations. What I really like about it: 1) the size - just love how packable it is. You can put it in a pocket with the smaller lenses. 2) it is interchangeable lense. Small as a point and shoot, but you can swap lenses, and there are a lot of high quality lense options out there. 3) I think the menu system is pretty good 4) love the integration with sony's little grip/tripod 5) excellent auto focus I really wish it had: 1) in body image stablization. But the camera is so small there is not way I think they could do this. But this is very missed. 2) no crop when taking 4k video. Yuck. I have to ask why we still have to deal with crop with a modern camera. Just annoying.

Best Start-up Videography Camera

Get some quality lenses and you’ll have a great experience. Camera overheats easily, but if you get a fan on amazon, it will resolve the issue of overheating. Overall, a good video camera.

So much potential to be great

Then I set it up and the images and video quality looked amazing, until I started walking with the camera to record video. The video was super shaky, which made me question should I buy a gimbal or return it. For the price of a gimbal, you could just upgrade to a better camera that has IBIS and other features that this camera is lacking. If you are vlogging and only going to have this camera on some kind of tripod, then this might be a great budget solution. If you are outside recording videos while walking normal or moving at a fast pace, do not but this. Save up and get a better version with IBIS and a viewfinder. I returned it within 2 weeks of using it.

She even had me come back on another day to teach me more! It's one thing to buy a nice camera, but another to know how to use it! Best Buy is lucky to have Ally as a rep. She's a superstar employee who cares, and she completely upsold me! However, im happy, the camera is great too, so far! I had a great shopping experience for this purchase, as i usually do at this location!

It has so much capability and it’s so small at the same time. This is perfect if you need a high quality camera on a budget that still performs like other cameras.

CINEMATIC MAGIC ON A BUDGET

From its ability to shoot in 4k, interchangeable lenses, the longer battery life and reduction in overheating... it can genuinely do all you need it to do for a lower budget camera as long as you invest in a good lens.

Beginner Camera

The kit lens that comes with this will cover most starter portfolio but does leave a lot to desire. I would recommend buying the body only and pickup a 24-70 instead.
