As the headline states, I needed a good radio for my desk at work. It's one of the cheaper clock radios that Sony offers and it does its job. So, for anyone that needs one for their desk or needs to replace an existing clock radio for a new one, this one should do it for you. There's also an alternate clock radio model that Sony offers that has more bells and whistles on it that includes a recharger outlet for you Applephiles out there. Since I'm an Android lover and already have a charging dock for my phone on my desk, this particular model won't be my cup of tea.

This clock takes up very little space yet has all the functionality you need. I especially like the projection of the time as both me and my husband can tell the time without having to lean up to see the clock.

This is a nice little alarm clock. Love the color. Blends in very nicely on my nightstand. Two separate alarms is a plus. Easy to use, easy to program, good quality product.

Perfect size for traveling. I always bring one with us because some of the hotels have clock radios that are extremely complicated to figure out!! What we didn't realize when we took this out of the box is the the front is a mirror! VERY classy looking!

This clock radio is just the right size! We love having the time projected on the ceiling! Still having to read instructions for setting the alarms, but we'll learn. Very pleased with this purchase!

Love the projector feature, works well, very clear display, looks high end, contemporary, compact. I just hope it will last for at least few years, since this model has some concerns of failing prematurely. Rain sound is terrible, other sounds are ok, not very clear, don't buy for nature sounds alone, they not really great quality. But alarms, style and projector are excellent.

The radio is easy to use. I love the projection of the time on a wall or ceiling. My old radio had problems with static interference and the AM antenna cured that.

The installation and operation of the Sony Alarm Clock was easy. The instructions were easy to follow. The one thing that I think Sony should have added to this alarm clock was to have alarm settings for individual days instead of either weekday or weekend .

I purchased this clock as a gift for a family member after her clock accidentally broke. She absolutely loved it and said that it is very easy to use, does not take up a lot of space and goes perfect with her décor. The price was perfect, too.

My kids wanted new alarm clocks because the ones that they had were too bright. We did not need ones for charging electronics because they do not keep them in their rooms overnight. We chose these because the numbers are not green and they had a dimmer function. Their only complaint is that the numbers are really orange, not red like they looked in the picture. They like them much better than the ones that they had. They do wish that they could dim just a little bit more.

Our 26 year old Sony clock radio was dying so we went to Best Buy to look for a replacement. There was a range of radios and models, but what I wanted was simple and readable for the time display. We saw this Sony. The price was right and the size was perfect for a bedside table. Big bright numbers and a decent sounding radio. Got it home and the time was almost perfect out of the box since it has a battery backup. A quick adjustment and it was good to go. If you want simplicity, at an affordable price, then this is for you!

I searched for a projection clock that wouldn't keep us awake. This clock is everything we wanted, small and good time projection. At first we had a hard time programming it but one phone call to helpful people showed us how to adjust our radio.

I wanted a neat modern clock that would project the time on the ceiling. This has been functional for a few weeks and I love it. The display is very clear and it does exactly what I want it to do. All wrapped up in a very neat cube design.

I got this for my new work from home desk area. It’s small enough to have it next to my monitor and listen to music while at work. Also can see the time. I don’t like the mirror, it didn’t serve a purpose and each time I go to turn it off, I always leave my fingerprints on it. I’m cleaning daily because I don’t like to see my fingerprints on it. Sound is good and brightness of time is perfect also small enough.

I bought this for my mom for Christmas as she didn’t have anything in her room and is getting older. I like the side projection of Time you can project in the wall and the set up was easy. The one thing I wished I had done was get another color as it’s all black and hard to see on/ off button on top. Sound is good as was turning for the radio

I needed a new and better simple to use clock radio that operated on AC current (hate DC). With assistance I found this radio to be just what I needed. After over a month since purchase, I found this to work great with superb sound quality considering the size. It takes little room on my night stand. The alarm is really good. It starts out soft and increases in volumn if not responded to. The 90 minute sleep feature works very well. I would definitely recommend this Sony product.

easy to use and bright a clear projection light off ceiling

The projection of the time on the wall is so helpful that I do not need to engage the alarm most of the time. It so bold that turning to anywhere on the bed, you could see it and know what time it is at any time. The radio is working perfectly. I just enjoy it all.

The good: Small footprint...will fit on any nightstand without a problem. Easy setup and operation. The additional USB port is convenient for phone chargers. The bad: light at lowest level is still quite bright. The button to turn off the alarm is quite small. The ceiling view of the time is gimmicky...if you’re so lazy that you can’t turn your head to view the clock, what’s the point of having one in the first place. Also a bit pricey for all the features. The model at half the cost would do just fine.

I bought this to replace a 24-year-old unit, so I expected some features to be different. :) I like the dual alarm feature, with the ability to tune the two alarms to different stations (or sources). I don't like that you have to specify Weekday or Weekend to the alarms, instead of just turning them on or off on the days you want; seems like it's too clever for its own good in that respect. The display is rather bright at full power, but it does have multiple dimming levels to help mitigate that.
