A perfect size to fit on the bedside shelf. Easy to understand buttons for alarm settings and large numbers to read for older eyes. Best part is the time projected onto the ceiling for both my wife and I can read easily even without glasses.

I got this because i just wanted a simple alarm clock that works, looks good and most importantly is reliable. This clock is very nice, easy to use. Took a little bit to figure out the buttons but now I love it. My only gripe is that it can only charge 1 usb. I don't care about charging iphones or waking up to my own music. To me its more important to just wake up to any sounds. I also like that it has a battery in case of storms. The projector feature is really cool too. I thought it would be gimmicky but its great to look up in bed and see the time if you wake in the middle of the night. If you want to charge more than 1 device, this clock isn't for you. or if you have an iphone then maybe you want an iphone type clock, but having usb means this will live past my next few phones.

I was surprised that an alarm clock could be so practical. I needed a dual alarm, with numbers easily seen when I'm half-awake, without my glasses. The projector swivels and can change 90 degrees, so that wherever the clock is directed, you can still see the time on the ceiling very clearly. I really didn't need the phone charger, but it's a nice addition. The different nature sounds work well, the sound graduates, so it doesn't jar you awake, but if you don't turn it off, it gets louder. The display has 3 different brightness levels, and the unit is still a small sized cube. I'm very pleased with the unit, and just hope it lasts as long as my old $20 alarm did.

my wife has to go into work 5:45 am and 7:45 am , the dual settings make life a lot easier...the sound effects are tranquil , and the time is not only displayed on the clock, but the wall or ceiling...a great clock..and it has an alarm that starts softly and than gets louder till you tap the shut off button.this is a unique alarm clock...

I got this after one look at other alarm clock manuals. This has 2 alarms, is a nice compact cube and is so easy to set and use. Other alarms I have to constantly refer to the manual just to set the time, change the alarm or to operate and they're prone to accidentally setting things you don't want set just because you held the button a second too long. This is easy to setup, easy to use and easy to turn off when the alarm goes off. It has a pleasant chirp, that gets louder the longer you ignore it, and a mirror-shiny face. The light is not too bright and can be changed if it is too bright for you!

The clock is nothing fancy, but that's exactly what we needed. It's an attractive cube design with easy to read numbers. There are two individual alarms which are very easy to set. The clock is very intuitive to use - I didn't need to use the instruction manual to get it set up and use it. Two minor complaints: 1) when changing the time, the clock shifts into "fast mode" TOO quickly ... it's hard to just change the alarm time by half an hour without it speeding up and zooming past the time I want; 2) Even on the dimmest setting, the LEDs are just a little too bright for my taste when trying to sleep.

My previous clock radio got terrible reception in my bathroom. I've had no problems with this one. It always sounds great! Small enough to put almost anywhere, but the numbers are big and bright.

Projection feature is nicer than I thought it would be; I find myself just glancing at the time on the wall at night instead of looking up at the clock display. Clock display is nice though - very clear during the day. Buttons take a little getting used to. Some buttons being on back is weird, and several buttons on the top are small, black on black, and not lit; but once you get the feel (literally) of what's what, it is all around very nice. You need to read the instructions for setting the alarms as there was something odd with having to press a different button than the one you want to naturally; again just a little getting used to and you'll still like it.

I was looking for a good alarm clock to take the place of my cell phone. I read a few reviews on this clock and decided to give it a try. A few people had mentioned that the beeping alarm was quiet, and I can confirm that it is. I am a light to medium light sleeper, so the beeping is loud enough wake me up. I would imagine if you are a harder sleeper, this setting wouldn't work for you. However, it is a progressive alarm, so it does get a little louder the longer it's on. In addition to the beeping alarm, you can use the radio to wake you up. With this setting, you can turn the volume up and the radio alarm will sound at that level. This may be a better option for heavier sleepers (I use this for my second alarm). The cube design is simple and elegant. It auto-sets the time depending on time zone, but you can also manually set the time. Great overall alarm clock.

I'm old fashioned. I needed a replacement clock radio for my nightstand. This one has nice- sized, lighted numbers. It's easy to set and the radio has a decent sound for a clock radio.

This is my 3rd attemt at the perfect alarm clock. It is replacing one I have had probably 25 years. Although still fairly bright, I can use a diffuser (found ideas online) to make it tolerable at night and still readable during the day. Not really sure why alarm clocks are made so bright now?!? Only thing that would give it a perfect score is if it had a digital tuner and a projector. Otherwise this clock is perfect! There are a lot of complaints about the button to turn off the alarm daily being recessed. I however like it. When I'm half asleep and reach up to turn off the alarm, all I have to do is feel for the button. I don't need to be able to see it and read it at 6am. If it were raised like the others, I wouldn't know for sure if I'm pushing the right button. Pretty genius in my opinion! Overall a great clock. Sound is pretty good for a clock radio and the brightness does have 3 levels. Does not turn off completely though. If this were placed across the room or on a night stand, the brightness would be tolerable at night, however it sits right above my head and is pretty bright, even on the lowest setting. But a .68 fix took care of that. Highly recommend!

This little Sony clock radio gets points for having extra fine volume control at low levels: I can set it just right for the volume I want to wake up to. Plus it is easy to set the alarms and turn them on/off, plus it's obvious when an alarm is going to come on - easy to see on the display. The display has 3 levels of brightness and it shines through the mirror finish of the front. Pretty small cube so it saves space on the end table next to the bed. Simple, easy to use, auto sets the time, backup battery. All I need.

Easy to use. The dual feature allows you to set up each alarm differently. Does not take up much space due to its small size. Brightness of the clock is adjustable which is a great feature. Everything you could want and more for an alarm clock. Great purchase.

This is small and easy to read. I like the projection of the time on the ceiling or wall. You can set two alarms with either the radio or different sounds like rain or the ocean. Only downside is I have to pull out the instructions to figure out how to reset the alarms.

My 9-year-old loves seeing the projection, and once the times, alarms, and presets are set, the features are easy to see on the display. He loves that the alarms can distinguish the difference between the weekday and weekend without changinging anything.

Love this clock! It's small, sturdy, and has a host of functions that make it worth the price: gradually increasing alarm sound, nature sounds, multiple alarms, dimmer switch for the display, and the projector is fantastic!

Did a search for projection alarm clocks there are a lot of duds out there. This one is not one of them. I have had no issues whatsoever. You can rotate the projection any direction you want. The nature sounds work great as a wake up alert. Volume is perfect! When you set your alarm you can set it to weekend or weekday. Which makes things easier for me. It's stylish. A USB port. You can change the brightness of the time display by pressing the snooze button. Everything works great I am extremely satisfied. Plus there's an option for a warranty! Which for me sweetens the deal. Great Job Sony! Thank you Best Buy for choosing such an Awesome product to carry!

I did my homework on this clock and it really paid off!!!! If you wake up at night and need to know the time, you no longer need to turn over and try to focus on a clock. With this projection clock, you just look wherever you've set to project the time (the projection placement will influence the size...love that). AND if you wonder whether you've set you alarm, NO PROBLEM.......the clock projection shows A or B, for your respective alarm setting. GREAT BUY!!!!!!!!!!

The radio works great. I don't use my clock for an alarm - I got it just to tell time at night. I like that I can control the brightness level of the time. It wasn't expensive. However, I give it just 3 out of 5 stars, b/c I don't like that I can't control the time (it's automatic). Also, the time is one-minute late from my computer and cell phone times.

This alarm clock does all I need and more. If you like birds, water, rain, thunderstorms, or music as a lullaby this will do it. Its small as in cube and allows you to adjust the brightness of the display and get this, it projects the time on the ceiling or wall...that's crazy cool. The projected time can be rotated to how you see it regardless of how the front display is pointed. The projected time can be focused to different distances so clarity of the time can be achieved. In this day and age some people just use a phone as a alarm clock , but if you like an old school back up or just roll that way like me, then get it!
