As a wedding videographer that typically uses 3 cameras throughout the wedding day, i easily go through 6-10 batteries in an event, and have to have backups just to be safe. Sony has forced everyone to move to OEM batteries, which is fine, except the charger is $100 for a single battery charger. So i have to spend $1000 to be able to charge all 10 batteries overnight in a situation where i have back-to-back events. Sony NEEDS to offer a a reliable, professional alternative option for charging large quantities of batteries at once.
