This battery charger is much faster and more efficient than using the supplied charger that attaches to the camera. Also the Best Buy staff recommended the Sony over another brand.

The charger is compact and very easy to use. The LED lights are plus so you know exactly how much of a charge you have on your battery. I definitely would recommend this product.

The A series Sony camera come with chargers that require the battery to be charged in the camera. This charger allows you to use a spare battery while charging the other. A useful product.

I did have a little trouble trying to find out how to charge directly from an outlet. I managed to use an old adapter to plug into the wall in the mean time. Overall the charger charges quickly.

Device works quickly, and seems to give the batteries a better charge than the device does or a generic charger I tried while at a friends house. Definitely worth the couple extra dollars...
