Good Blu-Ray for the cost

It's a little slower than my last one in connecting but it works well. It has an green light to show it's on-my Samsung didn't have that. Best Buy has a very short return policy-14 days-so make sure you check your unit quickly because after 14 days you have to go through manufacturer if there are any problems.

Sony Blu-Ray

Normally, I get frustrated when replacing electronic devices but not with this one. So far, it has worked well with my existing television and sound system. I haven't detected any skips or slowing like the former player was doing. All in all, this has been a good purchase.

Nice DVD player for use in RV

Allows us to watch movies while we are travelling by bringing some DVD's with us from home. Oh, you do need a TV also! We have a nice 24" LG flat screen that we also use as a computer monitor. As a bonus it has WiFi build in for streaming online content if you can find a good WiFi connection.

It amazes me how small they are now because my previous Sony which is only a couple years older is twice the size. Does everything you need. Loads fast. Playback is perfect. The streaming works just fine. I have read where people have streaming and network issues with this unit. I have not. The software update right out of the box only took about 2 minutes.

Vastly Underrated

Not a lot of bells and whistles and it certainly won't win any design awards, but if you are looking for a simple and reliable device that can do most anything, this is it. I was tired of being tethered to my phone all the time and I wanted a device to use streaming services and play blurays-well, this is it. Compact, well made and the price is good.

Unit used mostly for watching netflix and amazon prime since tv is older. Apps are preinstalled. Only thing I don't like...it switches the input to the one it's on every time I turn on my tv. Just about the time I'm watching something, bam, it switches tv to bluray player and i have to switch it back to what i was watching. Would have been 5 star if not for that.

Sony never disappoints

I going with my house modem with no drama. I has many apps ready to go and its smaller in footprint all good. But it is a bit slow on the start up and I don't love the lay out and size of the remote buttons. It is an entry level dvd player and it was certainly a welcome replacement, for the price its a good little player.
