This TV may be less vibrant than some other 37-inch TVs, i.e. Samsung 37a550, but it has a more natural picture color, i.e. people's skin tone looks normal and not over-saturated. The best function it has over the other 37-inch TVs is Cinemotion. The motion of blu-ray movies look like the Motionflow low setting on more expensive 120hz Sony TVs. Even my wife, who doesn't care about picture quality, admitted that the picture looked so much smoother with Cinemotion activated. If one is looking for a TV smaller than 40 inches but wants the same motion quality for movies of a bigger, more expensive TV, than this is the TV for you!

This TV is my fourth Sony purchase since I could afford to buy entertainment equipment. My second HD TV. The picture quality is superior to my previous models. As well, in the store, this model stood out compared to the other brands in the same size and 1080p category. The additional power creates crisp pictures. Great for viewing action sports. Easy installation, and set-up. The Bravia is connected to my Bose 321 home theater creating a perfect atmosphere for watching movies, concerts, and sports. The biggest complaint is not with the TV, but with the monthly cost of digital HD signals. DirectTV, Time Warner, and Comcast need to create better packages for the entry, and mid lever HD TV viewer. I do not consider myself a TV aholic, I can go days without turning the TV on. I cannot justify paying more than $40 per month to watch premium signals. I want HD without the Heavy Duty price tag!!!! Nevertheless, cannot go wrong with the Sony Bravia 1080p.

I am writing this having returned four of these tv's to best buy and Sony. Every TV set that I purchased had backlight bleeding problems in the top left and right portions of the screen and three out of the four had severe backlight bleeding issues throughout the entire screen. This is a new tv so these issues may be ironed out with time but for now I suggest you stay away from it. It's hardly noticeable except for the darkest scenes in a movie in a dark lit room and if that sort of thing doesn't bother you go ahead. By all means this is a great tv....the picture quality, especially skin tones and colors look great without being overly saturated and the Cinemotion feature looks amazing on Blu-Ray titles. This is an amazing, albeit rather expensive tv for what you get but it's worth it if you can get one that doesn't have any backlight bleeding problems! I rated it 4 out of 5 because it is a great tv....without the backlight problems.

I love this TV! I bought this TV a couple weeks ago, and it is a huge set from a regular tube. The picture on this TV is so clear, and I think the sound on the TV is great for how I have it set-up. Watching football in HD on this TV is a completely satisfying feeling; I almost cried it was so beautiful. Seriously, this is a great TV, and you can’t beat the financing. You can either save 18 months to buy it, or get it for 18 months no interest. I've got my TV, where's yours??? ;) Buy this TV and enjoy. I do recommend buying the warranty though. No matter how good something is, there is always a few that will have a problem. If you buy a warranty from Best Buy, you know you can just take it back to any store.

Just picked this up and my wife and I could not be happier. Picture was great right out of the box (although a little bright). I have not had time yet to play with the picture settings but am looking forward to an even better picture. Just watched a Bears game and my wife said "_ _, that is a good picture. Sound was OK but I have it hooked up to externals so it doesn't matter to me. Only con is the lack of a picture in picture button. You need to go through the options menu to get to it. Highly recommended.

I researched this set before buying and it has lived up to it's high reviews. I would strongly recommend this set to anyone. It beat my expectations. I found nothing wrong at all with the picture quality rather it is outstanding and the set produces a good solid sound. I like the feature of being able to set the sound to high voice quality and yet have a good sound in movies ect. I am impressed by the wide viewing angle of this set and the awesome deep and rich colors. The remote control is set up quite well and allows for easy access to all the functions a user will use. All in all , this set is quite impressive.

I recently purchased the Samsung 1080p 37 inch tv and I was very dissatisfied! It lasted about 2 days in my room. Picture and sound left much to be desired. This Sony solves many of the problems that the Samsung had, much better picture much more sharp and less grainy. The sound is also good, obviously if you want excellent sound you need to purchase a separate tuner and surround sound but the quality is good, no complaints.

THE COOL THING IS THAT I'VE USED MY IPOD VIDEO ON IT USING THE S-VIDEO INPUT HAVING IT CONECTED TO THE DOCK, AND THE PICTURE IS CLEAN AND CUT. AND RECENTLY BOUGHT THE SONY VCR/DVD THAT BRODCASTS IN 1080i AND THE PICTURE IS WONDERFUL ALSO I HAVE MY NINTENDO WII AS A COMPONENT INPUT AND THE OPTION OF GAME MODE ON THE TV MAKES THE GAME COME ALIVE IF YOU ARE LOOKING INTO A LCD TV GET THIS!!!

This TV is absolutely amazing. The pictures it provides look 3d and make you feel like you are there...The only bad is that when you go from high def to not digital cable. It makes you realize how bad the pictures on old tvs really were. Can't wait till the whole world is in 1080p, I'm praying it will be soon

Really great TV. Super easy to use and to set up (I have experience with a Visio and it is impossible). I love this TV. I want another one!
