Well, after using fm mods i decided that it was time to move on and buy something else. i had 2 choices 1. get an ipod adapter for my car (03 Audi A4) for about 170 dollars or buy this adapter for 19$. I did my share of research and settled on the cassette adapter. the verdict: I love it. Now for some cars it may not work as well but for my 2003 Audi A4 with the Bose Symphony system it works very very well. theres no clicking at all all you need to do is set NR to off and adjust ipod vol to medium. Then you can use your stereo controls/wheel controls to adjust volume. Very Simple, very clear sound great buy overall

This sony cassette player with the attached ipod wire works really well. It is also easy to use.Of course cars bought recently won't have a cassette player so you won't be able to use this but if your car has a cassette player, I would totally recommend getting this. This offers you the ability to connect your ipod or mp3 player or anything that uses a headphone wire jack to connect your media and entertainment to the car and it's easy. Connect the wires and your done, there is no other software installation or anything.

This is my 3rd tape adapter for my iPod - first was Monster Cable, then Dynex (?) - which was the worst, and now this Sony one.
Monster Cable was really good, but eventually it started "clicking" rather loudly. This Sony one is probably my favorite, and as it allows me to crank my iPod almost all the way up before any distortion is heard. Then I can just use my car radio's volume knob to adjust.

I bought this so I could listen to books on CD in my car that has a cassette tape deck. Now I can listen to CDs or cassettes. It was super easy to set up. You just plug the cord into your portable CD player and pop the other end into to your cassette deck and you're ready to listen to CDs.

This cassette adapter does what it's supposed to do - bridging two non-consecutive generations of audio technology. It works great, and is compatible with anything that has a headphone jack. That includes pretty much all portable audio players.

Probably the best cheap solution to playing an iPod or MP3 player in the car. It's much easier to use and cheaper than an FM transmitter, the only downside being the sound quality. If you have a cassette player in your car and you want an easy way to play your music, this is definately the way to go.

I purchased this product so that i could listen to my ipod nano through my car and my home stereo. The product works great. All you have to do is put the "dummy" cassette into your stereo, and plug the cord coming out of the cassette into your mp3 or ipod. The sound quality is as good as it gets.
